I don't know about other people, but I feel like I'm going cross-eyed from reading so many profiles. So here's the short version...if you want the details keep reading! 1. I'm a teacher and I love it. 2. I enjoy a good adventure- traveling, scuba diving, bungee jumping...maybe sky diving one day 3. I like cooking (but cooking for one is boring!***. I'm originally from the midwest (but my family has moved a lot) and have been living in Boston for almost 13 years. I teach high school English (teenagers, I know! But, I love them). Teaching takes a lot of energy but the students make every minute worth it. They simultaneously keep me young and make me want to pull my hair out. I love to travel. Cliche? Maybe but definitely true. I wouldn't be the person I am today if it hadn't been for my travels. I've had a lot of opportunities to see different places around the world. I just got back from a three week trip to Europe (5 countries, 7 cities!!). I've been to six of the seven continents and I've gone Scuba Diving off of 5 of them. I guess its time to start planning my trip to Antarctica (but I highly doubt I will be going diving down there!) My friends would tell you I am loyal to a fault, I am driven and ambitious, I'm very generous and I'm always trying to give people the benefit of the doubt. I would also add that I am a romantic at heart.

First and most important, I have a 5 yr old daughter who I love more than life. Dating hasn't been on top of my priorities since she is always #1. I believe that people learn how to deal with relationships by watching their parents, so it's important to me to be a good role model. I will not introduce her to someone I do not know, so meeting up at a time when is with me is out of the question. No offense to anyone. I'm a down to earth person. Most of my time is spent with my daughter or trying to keep my house and yard in order. I try to get out once every other week and let loose a little just to keep some excitement in my life. I love being near water on a beautiful day. Whether I'm fishing, swimming, just hanging out on a boat, or laying on beach, it's my favorite place to be. The most common question that I get is “What are you looking for in a guy". The honest answer is I don't really know. I will know when I find it.
