I am a kind hearted person....hence the profession I have chosen for a career. I enjoy being around people most of the time but also like my own quiet time. If you like type A personalities and/or possess the same we will get along well.The saying,"my glass is always half full" is me.....no room in my life for negativity and pessimism. I do not like procrastinators. I believe in getting the job done..... As a trauma nurse I have seen and done a lot in my career and because of this I am now at a point where I want to share my knowledge and experience, which is exactly what I am doing. A Master's Degree in Nursing is in my near future. Although I can be vain I also have no problem going out and getting dirty either. I love to work in the yard and garden when I have time to enjoy the benefits from doing so. Four-.... While I am not a fanatic about it, I do like to think I try to take care of myself.....keep in shape and eat pretty healthy most of the time. I am an independent person but always willing to ask for help if I need it and at the same time help others in any way I can if needed. Honesty and trust are the foundations of a solid relationship and are expected in any relationship I am in but you will get the same from me...... There are a lot of things I like to do.....fishing, camping, biking, hiking, hanging out with friends, bowling, reading, movies, concerts, traveling, going to dinner, decorating, and of course I love shopping.......there are a lot more things I like to do but this is enough to start a conversation. As far as music, I like a variety. I grew up playing piano so I was exposed to every type of music you can think of....except Rap and Heavy Metal. Those are two I really don't care for. I love animals and have pets so I hope you aren't allergic. Family and friendships are relationships I value through thick and thin. Without these in one's life what do you have? I am a hardworking, independent woman who loves to laugh and loves to make others laugh.I've been divorced for 21 years, and recently ended a long-term relationship, my choice.Have 4 grown children, and 4 grandchildren, that are a huge part of my life. I don't like to hang out in bars, but do occasionally enjoy going out to have a couple of drinks, and maybe play a few games of pool. I LOVE music. Not crazy about country or rap, but most anything else depending on my mood. Could listen to Def Leppard all day long!.Guess I should update this thing, since a few things have changed. Still missing my Boxer, which I lost several months back, due to brain cancer. My daughter found me a new Boxer puppy for Christmas. He will never replace the first one, but I love him. I could tell you so many things about myself, however, until you get to know me, and see for yourself, it really doesn't matter what I say. Cannot kiss a smoker, or someone who dips. Nothing against you, I just can't do it.I don't tolerate disrespect, or being taken advantage of by anyone.I would say that the thing which makes me unique is the fact that I, unlike most others will not hesitate to walk away from a bad situation. Life is too short to spend it in misery.I don't really know if I should admit this or not, but I laugh at alot of things that other people don't find amusing. Just my personality I guess. My ideal first date would definitely be going somewhere very casual. Maybe have a drink, talk, learn things about each other in a comfortable environment. Just be yourself, because I sure will. No expectations! If I start laughing uncontrollably at something you don't find funny, I give you total clearance to walk away and pretend we never met! This could possibly happen.
