I don't believe any two people are born soulmates, but I do believe in attraction, chemistry, and being "right for eachother". I don't believe in "meant to be"; I believe in knowing when you have great mutual attraction, chemistry, passion, and friendship, and acknowledging when you feel "IT", being open to building and cultivating a blooming relationship, committing to it, and then working hard to maintain a good relationship.There is No perfect marriage.... I love animals and I have pets. I enjoy riding horses, though it has been quite some time since I've had the privilege. I like to read, and I enjoy going to movies, the comedy club, mini golf, bowling.I enjoy all kinds of movies... comedy, drama, horror, romance, suspense, action... not necessarily in that order. I like some of most genres of music.... and if it's a love song, so much the better.My work as a nurse tech at the hospital, working 12hr night shifts, is exhausting. But I love what I do because I love helping people, touching lives, making a positive difference when they are experiencing difficulties. When I provide care, people can feel that I really do care.I choose to look for the good in people, rather than looking for bad in them... but don't try to pull the wool over my eyes. I have been called gullible and naïve, but I am also perceptive and intuitive. I am kind and loving, but I refuse to be a doormat. I do not need a man to "take care of me", but I do enjoy being pampered and spoiled by a man who enjoys doing that for me. I am not desperate; I do not need a man in my life. But I do enjoy a mans company, I do want a relationship, and yes, I do want to find love again. The first date..... When I meet with someone from online, I prefer to think of that first meeting as just that... a first meeting.... meeting someone for the first time, having a conversation with them, finding out if there is an interest in having a first date.

    I am a hardworking, independent woman who loves to laugh and loves to make others laugh.I've been divorced for 21 years, and recently ended a long-term relationship, my choice.Have 4 grown children, and 4 grandchildren, that are a huge part of my life. Nothing against you, I just can't do it.I don't tolerate disrespect, or being taken advantage of by anyone.I would say that the thing which makes me unique is the fact that I, unlike most others will not hesitate to walk away from a bad situation. Life is too short to spend it in misery.I don't really know if I should admit this or not, but I laugh at alot of things that other people don't find amusing. Just my personality I guess. My ideal first date would definitely be going somewhere very casual. Maybe have a drink, talk, learn things about each other in a comfortable environment. Just be yourself, because I sure will. No expectations! If I start laughing uncontrollably at something you don't find funny, I give you total clearance to walk away and pretend we never met! This could possibly happen.
