I'm a very easy going lady who is, luckily, easily amused. I think my friends would describe me as thoughtful, warm, genuine, insightful, and quick to laugh. I can be somewhat careful or slow in letting others get to know me, but in the meantime I think my laughter stands out since it can be quite gregarious! While I don't see this at all, I have been told by reliable sources that I can be a little quirky and tend to march to the beat of my own drum.I enjoy my work a great deal and feel good about helping others to improve their lives and to heal. What we do is much less important to me than being able to connect. I can walk for hours on end browsing stores along the way and stopping here or there for a snack or a drink. I've been teaching myself to sew, but haven't made a successful item from scratch yet. Thrift stores are my specialty and love a great find! Sometimes hidden in the rubble I find old yearbooks and enjoy sifting through the photos and messages and getting a glimpse of a someone's past.
