The social disparity in the world creates angst in me compelling my career in international public health. My repertoire of ethnic recipes is exotic, unique and vast. There's a lot of spice in my life. The cultural aspects surrounding food fascinate me, and although I've done mass food distribution during famine, I always find a ritual. I have recently started an ethnic catering company in Marin to bring the grassroots recipes I've learned in the land of scarcity to the land of abundance.
