About Me

Inquisitive, curious and inquiring, I am always on the quest for knowledge. That doesn't mean I'm a brainiac - just that I like learning things. You know those historic markers on the side of the highway? Yep, I like to read them. I ask "why" almost as often as I ask "how."-- so there is hope for me yet. I am quirky, and I do march to my own drummer with no apologies. I cannot do impressions well, but that does not stop me. I am a chatterbox once over my initial shyness. I am also intensely private. But trust me, it is worth the time it takes to really get to know me. Just know that it takes time -- it is not going to happen right away. But, being shy and private also means that I'm not a diva, princess or queen bee! I am low maintenance and content with living within my means. I know -- how strange!I want to meet someone with whom I can connect on an intellectual level and have anything further build slowly. I realize this is not a popular notion, but I do not wish to rush into anything. I want us to get to know each other without pressure. Let's enjoy every step of the journey.Ideally, you should possess some spontaneity that is tempered slightly by responsibility. I am also hoping that you have a wide streak of curiosity and a wicked sense of humor. Please be able to hold up your end of the conversation and be open-minded. Also, please be a nice guy.Sound like you? Contact me and let's see where it goes. Something casual and interactive. We're trying to get to know each other a little, so being able to hear each other is a big plus. It does not need to be anything fancy. I am a jeans and sneakers kind of girl.
