About Me

I'm a registered nurse in an emergency room. I am also pursuing a career as a nurse practitioner. I own a home where I live with my cat Dawkins....yes, after B. Dawk. I'm fairly active...I will make many efforts to go to the gym at least 3 days a week, but sometimes after working 12 hour shifts, that is the last thing I feel like doing. I take very good care of myself. No cavities, no medical issues, and I like to stay up to date with all the latest fashions......but I will not wear fake hair...GROSS. My nails are usually done, I love wearing makeup and smelling good. I wear dresses, and high heels or a fashionable pair of boots. Don't get it wrong though...I'm not materialistic. I'll sport sweats and my UGGS when I'm chilling around the house, or when there is a Wawa or Home Depot run. But for the most part I like to look presentable.I am very honest...some say brutally honest, but I don't necessarily think that is a bad trait to possess. Heck, I'd rather have a honest, up front person in my life than a bold faced liar!!!My intent for this dating experience is to find someone that fits my criteria and vice versa. I realize that nobody is perfect, and face it, I'm in my 30's and I don't look like I did when I was 23. If a real MAN is looking for a 30 something female to look like she did when she was 23 then you should be looking for a female that age. But if you are serious about being in a relationship with someone established, then you've come to the right profile. I'm not putting my looks aside, I am a damn good catch, but I'm also realistic.I'm a fun chick, mostly everybody and anybody wants to hang with me...I have a great sense of humor, but I'm also serious when need to be. I hate games... and dudes who play "hard to get".. forget about talking to me. I despise that more than anything. If I like you and you like me...why not talk more than once a day? What are we in junior high? I mean grow up. If we meet and you don't feel the vibe, than erase my number....don't sympathy text me...there's a ton of men out there, and you will be forgotten.I also don't tolerate jealousy or controlling men. I'm old enough to know what I want, and having someone I'm interested in telling me what to do really sux.Ok, that's enough....if there is more you want to know about me, then I guess you'll just have to ask!!Cheers!     Apparently I need to be more of a b**** by stating what I thought would be obvious: 1, if you don't have a picture, don't message me. There is no reason you can't find something decent. 2, if you're over 40 or under 27, LEAVE ME ALONE. I will NOT date someone in their mid 40's , early 50's etc....now, onto the show. Well, let's see, I love all animals but Im not a hoarder. :) I work at an animal shelter so I see alot of sick things but feel truly fulfilled saving as many lives as possible. Im lucky enough to live near the lake so I can walk on the beach and exercise my 3 dogs. I looove camping and hiking, as well as fishing(yes, I can bait my own hook:). I love ATVing, mudding, and all things getting dirty. Love gardening and sleeping with one sock on, one off. :) I'm somewhat of a homebody that loves to cook and I also enjoy reading. Im not a high maintenance girl; I like shopping but it tends to be for household/yard stuff over designer handbags. I stay active with my job so I don't feel it necessary to hit the gym. I try to stay out of the bar scene~it doesn't seem to create healthy relationships. I'm not a big drinker though do enjoy libations from time to time. I should also put it out there that I am into 'herbal rememdies' and also smoke cancer sticks, but STRICTLY in the evenings. I love almost all music! From bluegrass to r&b, Im pretty open to everything. I love all 90's music, from country to easy listening.; that man is smooth as butter. In a man Im looking for the type tht works with his hands. Im looking for someone I can make dinner for and go out walking with. I clean up well but enjoy sweats too :) so, if you wax your brows, fake bake, wear designer clothes, and get mani/pedi's more than I do, please keep searching. Also, I make my own money, I don't need nor expect yours.*Please note: I have been known to make jokes about inappropriate things at inappropriate times. You have been warned! My ideal first date would be perhaps a walk somewhere, weather permitting. A doggie playdate? Drinks n music at a corner bar? Perhaps we could take a drive and get lost? What about a ninja grill off challenge?! The Domes? People watching at the beach?
