I am what you call an older woman! Wow, This statement sure did creep up on ME! But it IS True! I don't feel older, but yes, I DO look older. My physique may not appear older, however, the lines on my face prove I am not 20, or 30 or Even 40 years old anymore. HOWever, I feel in my heart that the only aspect that has kept up with my age in numbers are the decisions ,choices, and priorities I choose . I thrive on the moment. Enjoying the little things in life now. Not the expensive outfit, shoes or purse I am sporting, but the life experience I could be enjoying with that hard earned dollar. I love the outdoors! Nature is a cure all for me. Staying healthy, both physically and mentally! That is a must for any companion in my presence. I have been alone for over 10 years, my children are all grown up and do not live locally. My dog of 14 years just passed away, and I am truly alone now. But that's OK.....I am fine with that. However, to find someone to share what has blessed this "older" woman's life with, and the exciting possibilities this life will continue to offer would be comforting. Honesty is a must. Energy is a plus. And respect for your body is a Priority! Please do not respond if you are an older man that has succumbed to A SLOW, boring, nonACTIVE lifestyle! I enjoy making my home warm and inviting and comfortable for family, friends and those I entertain.I'm sure this may be a goal of many, but maintaining a financially secure life is important to me. As far as my goals. I would love to find that special man I've been searching for, to share my life with; in regard to work, I'm currently working toward my goals in my current position at the company I work at~I LOVE where I work!!What makes me unique? I'm not quite sure how to answer this, however I do know what makes me, me. I love helping others' achieve more for themselves, it may be as simple as helping a friend paint or helping them out when they are overwhelmed by what life is throwing at them at that particular time; my ability to build relationships be it in my personal or work life...I love that I'm able to find common ground with those I've just met by sharing a little piece of my life. I have friends' all over the country I have made while travelling for business or pleasure. I love being spontaneous(!) however I am not a self-made millionairess(spelling?I enjoy many types of music, 80's pop, new country, jazz, and some blues.I enjoy both college and NFL football and would love to attend, even travel more to games during the season~Family and friends are very important to me, however so is spending time with the person I'm dating;~our families and friends love us and want us to me happy, so they'll understand if we're "unavailable" now and again...LOL!! I think the first date should be discussed mutually, and be something both are comfortable with.
