About Me

I think I am finally courageous enough to start online dating and meet new people. I am a real Southerner so being online feels strange to me-guess you could say I'm traditional. I'm gregarious, expressive, intuitive, genuine. Total extravert but enjoy my alone time very much too. I am blessed with a large network of church, neighborhood and other good friends. I enjoy a full life and my busy, active children. I have a deep Faith. I have two beautiful, sweet, funny daughters ages 15 and 11; they inspire and challenge me daily! I'm at several sports activities of theirs weekly, and that's fun too. I hold neither all conservative or all liberal viewpoints, but some of each. I've lived, studied and traveled in several cities around the country and the world and have a huge bucket list of new things to try, places to go and dreams to accomplish. If we don't work out as a date or have the chemistry, I'm always up for an honest friendship and think we all can never have too many friends in life. No harm, no foul.I think that connection and friendship are the basis of any relationship. It really has to start there to be worth time for either of us. My children are my first priority and I have a busy job so I'm looking for lighthearted fun, activities or exercise. A walk around the lake followed by coffee would be perfect way to get to know others. If tennis is your game, I'm in. I'm always up for exploring, travel and new adventures. Like to cook and love to eat, try new things. Antiquing and thrift shops are fun and I could spend a whole day in home depot thinking about lots of fun creative projects for my home and garden. My girls and i volunteer alot around town and that's a meaningful value to pass on but have fun with too. I don't have time for tv but don't think I'm missing anything much? Mass is always a part of my weekend. I'm a home owner, stable in my job and don't need anyone to care for me financially: blessed by God in so many ways. In a contradictory way, I'm a total badass, but also very loving, nurturing, affectionate and spsiritual. Yes, sassy and sweet too. I'm looking forward to spending time with people with a good, benevolent, moral value system, their head on their shoulders *** somewhere else (!) a sense of humor and humility as well as a great laugh. I don't want to date a boy, I want to date a Man with a capital M who knows who he is, what he does and doesnt stand for and what he wants out of life. Just like Sheryl Crow wants to know "Are you strong enough to be my man?"

    Internet dating, isn't it so much fun? LOL - Some things about me: I like fishing, bowling, going to the movies, going to concerts and eating out (who really likes to do dishes? LOL). I do take care of myself and do try to eat right and exercise, but I'm not an extremist about it. : ) I work full-time outside all year. I'm a car inspector so it's a physically demanding job as well as mental. In the summer, I get quite the farmer's tan, despite using sunscreen! I do watch sports occasionally, but watching something live is better; i.e. in other words, to me it's more fun to watch a local high school football game then to sit in front of the television and watch the cowboys play! No, not that we can all rides horses, even though I do know how! And yes a pick up truck is my favorite vehicle! : ) LOL I love classic cars ***Firebird - yep one these days! : ) I love to watch drag racing, funny car, and demolition derbies are fun! At one time I wanted to be a drag car racer! : ) I love to laugh every day and have a great sense of humor. I do look at the brighter side of things, but of course can be serious when needed. Communication, honesty, trust, integrity, are important! I have old fashioned morals and values. I believe in treating others with dignity, courtesy and respect. A kind smile does wonders for the other person! : )I can dress in a business suite (oops wait a minute, I don't own one of those anymore! lol - I can wear a dress and heels and be just as comfortable as when I wear my favorite pair of jeans and a t-shirt and have my hair pulled back in a ponytail - either way I am quite happy and at ease with myself. : ) I also have a knack to get people around me to relax and enjoy themselves. My "adopted" dad, is not my real dad. I lost both my parents years ago.
