So, the best way I can figure to describe myself is to tell a few short stories about myself...As a child, I can remember feeling sorry for the lightbulb in our living room lamp. I remember thinking how hot it was, and how uncomfortable it must have been. So I decided I would try to make it feel better by using the spray bottle to cool it with water. It blew up in my face. I think I learned that day that empathy is good, but too much can hurt you.Where I work there is a tree out back where people will go to take a break. I also have a lemon tree in my backyard that makes countless lemons all year. I gathered up a bunch of lemons and brought them to work to secretly spread around the tree there. Since that tree is not a fruit tree, I knew it would cause confusion. I let a friend in on the joke, and we both had to hold back our laughter as people walked around the office holding lemons with perplexed looks on their faces. I know it is silly, but it was funny.(another memory from my childhood…)I sat in the shallow water at the beach with my bucket. Small fish were swimming all around me. I placed my bucket on its side in the water and sat still for what seemed like an eternity; watching as the fish swam up to look in curiosity. I was waiting for one to swim in so that I could scoop it up. I let some swim in and out again, until the one I wanted made its way into my bucket. I scooped it up and watched it swim around for a while. And then I let it go. My first date was a long time ago. :) If you really want to know about it, I'd be happy to tell you.

I am a single father of a 16 year old son that has been my life and my happiness! I have joint custody of him every other week. I work full time as a mailman and have a second job as a radio dj or on air personality and I also own a DJ business doing weddings and birthday parties etc. I am very friendly, nice, and laugh a lot.. always looking for the joke in things..lol! I smile a lot and love meeting people with a genuine good heart. Raising my son has been my primary concern but now that he is getting older and doing things with his friends a lot I have more time to begin dating again. I love kids. I grew up as a basketball player through school and coached kids and refereed basketball as well. I had to stop after taking a job with the Postal Service since I work every Saturday... grrrr! I used to do videography for a long time along with my DJ business doing weddings and commercials and sporting events but it became to time consuming with my other jobs. I have either met girls that have a great personality that I am not attracted to or ones that I am attracted to but just didn't have much to talk about. Because of my radio job I usually meet girls a lot younger than I am and date girls about ten years younger. I am told that I look younger than my age often. I am very romantic. I love slow dancing, holding hands, long passionate kisses and cuddling while watching romantic comedies! I like all kinds of music.. top 40, pop, R&B, Blues, some rock.. and some country... but not much on country music. I am also a huge Elvis fan..lol! I like to dress up and have been considered stylish. I enjoy cooking(using a recipe). I recently started playing golf with my son and love it! I drive a truck and have a motorcycle. I own my own home. I don't have much family although I always dreamed of having a big family. My Mom and my son have been the closest things in life to me. I lost my Mom two years ago so now my son is really all I have. I have a Dad that lives a couple of hours away but has not taken much part in my life unfortunately. I am a very happy person and would love to find someone to smile and laugh with and enjoy life with. First dates are usually better if you can do things that will make you smile or laugh a lot. Dinner first though... Bowling.. skating.. and other active dates are fun too and for me allows me to see if my date has a fun side to her and can enjoy having fun with me. The first date would depend on the person I am seeing though. I would want to know her interest and likes and would cater the date around the things she enjoyed. I am a pleaser.. I like making my date happy and try meeting her needs before my own. If she is happy I am usually happy. Movies are fun too and although they allow you to hold hands may not give you the chance for much conversation.
