I'm content sitting at home some nights. But I like to go out from time to time. The company I'm with is more important than the activity 99% of the time. I like watching sports. And I understand them. Yes, seriously. :) I go to the gym often. Working out is important. If you are a couch potato, things with you will get old quickly and we will not be compatible. I feel better when I work out and so I will continue to do so. It's best if you have a lifestyle that correlates with being active. I have several full body shots up for pics because I think it's fair and accurate. By no means am I "thin" - I am what it says "a few extra pounds" which some people have said translates to "fat" on this site. As an English teacher, I can assure you that "a few extra pounds" does not mean the same thing as "fat." If you are under the misconception that it does, you have probably marked yourself as "average" when in fact you are quite more than "average." This annoys me. Because if you cannot be honest with how you see yourself, how can you ever be honest with me? I work out because I enjoy working out. I like to run. I like to lift weights. If you don't enjoy physical activities for the purpose of being FIT and HEALTHY, please don't message me. I'm a daddy's girl. I have a dog and I adore her. I like my job, and I'm good at it. Additionally, if I am not physically attracted to you or if I am not attracted to what I read in your profile, I will wish you luck in your search.It would be great if you were educated and could spell most things correctly. Punctuation in messages is a plus as well. I'm amazed at the number of men on this site who cannot do these things. I'm an elementary special education teacher and I love my job. I'm very passionate about the sport of ice hockey and usually play several times/week, mostly as a goalie. However, I also enjoy playing the Irish sport of hurling/camogie, so I try to balance my time between both sports. I love to laugh and enjoy comedy clubs, funny movies, and hanging out with friends. I love to play cards (euchre, poker, anything!), darts, Wii games, board/party games, etc. I like to read, too.Some of my favorite movies are: Boondock Saints, Slapshot, Miracle, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Snatch, Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, The Hangover, etc.I'm definitely a dog person and currently have 2 dogs.I'm a pretty laid back person overall but I do generally like to stay busy. Sometimes I like to plan ahead while other times I enjoy being impulsive. I would love to do something like go to a hockey game or take my dogs on a walk along the canal downtown. I'm pretty openminded as long as we get a chance to talk and get to know each other. Something fun and competitive would be great, so putt-putt, bowling, tennis, etc. could make for an interesting first date.
