Well, I am a teacher and small town farm girl. I enjoy spending time at home, but also enjoy getting dressed up and going out with friends. I got my hunting license a few years ago and enjoy hunting pheasant in the fall. I love KU basketball and am a complete nut during college basketball season! However, I don't personally play any sports and never really have. So, if you are looking for an athlete, I'm probably not your type.I am a middle school language arts teacher. I also write for a grammar website! Love teaching, but don't always love some of the things that come along with it! New school this year, so that is a new challenge, but loving the change so far! I believe that marriage is not about finding that person who "completes you". I think you should already be complete and confident in yourself and marriage should be about finding someone that you can share that with. I am looking for a man who is dependable, who can support me in my career and hobbies, who also has his own hobbies, who is confident in himself, but not arrogant, who doesn't mind being a little silly sometimes! Someone who is not afraid of a strong woman, but can also be my rock when I'm not so strong. Intelligence is also important to me. You don't have to have a degree to be considered intelligent, but I am interested in finding someone who can challenge me intellectually. Having a "nice guy" is a great thing, but he also has to be able to support his family, make decisions, and stand up for himself in life!I do not have any children of my own, but am ready for that in my life. I've been with guys who have kids from previous relationships and sometimes it has gone well, and sometimes not so well.     This is the fun part right? I have been teaching for 7 years and each year is different from the last. I enjoy learning how to fix things around my house, but also know when things are above my skill level. The Steelers, however, are not looking to promising this year but sometimes you just have to have those down years. Of course my family is very important to me and I love watching my niece and nephew grow up. My new hobby is boxing.
