I am probably most accurately described as an adventurous, athletic nerd who has some tree hugging tendencies. I'm part way through my masters, and I fill my spare time with a ridiculous amount of sports. I've got a decent sense of humour and it doesn't take much to make me laugh. I'm scared of heights but I've been bungee jumping. I like to plan all the details but I'm capable of spontaneity. I'm generally a very clean person but my bedroom's a mess. I can carry a conversation in German but I'm embarrassed when I try to speak French. And I wake up early every morning but I love when I can sleep in. I'd like to toss a frisbee in the park and then grab a drink or a snack (maybe ice cream?)I'd settle for almost any sport in the park though, or just the drink part if that's an easier place to start.

Mostly because, come on, really? *grin***also also, guys, lets be real for a second. If you message me, I think I'm entitled to a little more than 5 min to reply. Don't be a Richard. And definitely don't immediately message me with a "oh! You think you're too good for me?" Or a "guess not..." Or a "took one look at my profile and decided no, huh?" That's the best way to guarantee I won't respond.***Aaaand if you're still with me this far, be aware that I like to commit my attention to one person at a time. I just like to familiarize myself with a good personality rather than dive into a handful of random conversations. If I'm talking to you, you've piqued my interest, but please be patient with me... The grown-up real world and its obligations suck my free time sometimes... I fully expect a romantic dinner at a 5-star restaurant with the soft serenade of a single violin. You will pick me up at 8:00 sharp and offer me a bouquet of a dozen red roses. We will drink champagne in the limousine on the way, and you will be nothing short of the perfect gentleman all evening. ...I'm totally kidding. I'm pretty much game for anything; lunch, coffee, drinks, maybe something a little more creative? Laser tag? The zoo? Bonfire at the beach?I suppose now is as good a time as any to mention that I am expecting to gain friends FIRST from this site. Anything that grows from that should happen naturally. I like to learn about people, and hoard a collection of acquaintances and friends. The first time we get together, it will not be a date. I'd like to be clear on this. If there's a connection, if we click, or spark, or whatever they believe in these days- fan-freaking-tastic. But I have had enough of the awkward, painful, interview style meet ups.
