About Me

This is where I'm supposed to write something about me. Now, you would think since I've lived with me my entire life, that would be easy. Ummm - not so much.Always hard to know where to begin. After a long day at work on a sunny day, you will find me driving home with my sun roof open and singing along to the radio, usually set to a local country station. Home is a cute little Cape Cod house that I bought last summer. It's a house with character. Oh yeah, I still don't do plumbing. I look forward to working on the landscaping and hanging a hammock where I can spend time relaxing, reading and sipping on a glass of iced tea or wine. Eventually, a hot tub will have a place in my relaxation garden.I work in the financial world which is fast moving, ever changing, and never boring. When I have vacation time from work, I am ready for total relaxation. It was the most relaxing vacation I've ever been on.-lined through the tree tops. One word to describe the day - exhilarating! I love warmth, being on the water, seeing new places and beautiful beaches. Cruising was made for me. I've been on two since then and hoping to plan another one very soon I know some people say "you've seen one beach, you've seen them all". I'm not one of those people. One of my favorite times on the ship is late at night when I grab a cup of tea and walk the top deck of the ship. So peaceful and serene. I'm pretty sure why I find a cruise so relaxing is that I am a planner and you can cruise without planning much. I raised two boys and was very involved with them during high school . . . did I say VERY? One was in marching band and the other played football, which made for very interesting conversations. Neither spoke the other language. I could have written a book called "The Athlete and The Musician". And I got quite good at being two places at once. With high school behind me, I find that I now have time to concentrate on me and hone my home remodeling skills. What did people do before Google and Youtube? If you can't find it on Youtube ***well, you just don't need to be doing it. I like getting dressed up and going to the Schuster Center. I also like putting on my OSU gear and rooting for the Buckeyes! I love football and my fall weekends are usually planned around football games. I enjoy going to local high school games also. Favorite local restaurants? El Meson and Thai Nine. I like trying new foods and finding hole in the wall restaurants. Things in the area that I've not done but would like to ***I know -seems impossible to have lived here for twelve years and never been to Young's. Who am I looking for? Someone who was nodding as they read the above. Someone who likes walks on distant beaches, slow dancing under the stars, and sitting on the edge of your seat during a football game. On cold, snowy winter weekends throwing logs on the fire and watching movies. What do I think makes a relationship work? Honest communication and respect. First meeting - coffee at Starbucks, Tim Hortons, etc.First date - Dinner in a nice quiet place where we can talk and get to learn more about each other. Seeing a movie or doing something we've discovered we both enjoy during our initial communication.

    I'm the mother of 3 wonderful kids (spoiled brats), but wonderful. When not working most of my free time is spent at dance or a sports activity for one or the other.
