It's Friday night and I am on my computer creating a meetville profile, UGH! I haven't read any of the profiles yet and my first thought is...I wonder how many of them followed the 4 steps to creating a profile for success. I would like to start by saying that I am looking for a relationship and I have heard good things about this site. I like being outside rather I'm at the beach, lake or golf course. I do like indoor activity as well like playing pool, cooking dinner or shopping and if I could only find someone that would like to go with me and help me decide would be awesome! I have a son, a daughter and 2 dogs, they are all well behaved and very low maintenance, I like that. I do have time now to get to know someone and hopefully make a new start. I will be 50 in November and I like to stay in shape, eat right and live right. I am not interested in anyone's drama, I prefer to keep a positive outlook in my life. And for #4, I like all kinds of music, especially if it is live (well almost everything)! Lunch. Preferably at a quiet little diner in a historic little town with a bottle of wine on the water.

I describe myself as a liberal who chooses to live conservatively. For the most part, I am lighthearted and fun to be around (my friends tell me I should do Stand Up) but I am also a thinker. I think I have a good balance between my right and left brain. My father was an engineer and my mother was an artist, so there you go. Fun is fun and a sense of humor is a must but I would like to meet someone who also has depth, another “thinker” I can truly connect with - someone who is willing to let me into his head, heart, and soul. I'm in no hurry in that I'm very happy with my life now but if Mr. Right comes my way tomorrow I'm good with that too! I wish everyone here well. :) My ideal first date would be something like dinner then sitting under the stars with a blanket, a bottle of wine and inspiring conversation until the sun comes up. And CHEMISTRY. :)

As far as music goes, I like country now days, but I also like rock, especially older rock and roll, like Sammy Hagar, Hagar/Van Halen, Moxy, etc. I also like R & B music. Actually, I can listen to just about any music except opera. I also really like the idea of camping out, but honestly, unless there is some kind of a toilet and a mattress involved...probably not gonna happen! LOL! I love to bass fish, tho. It is almost a passion. I find it relaxing and enjoyable. I will catfish or Crappy fish as well, although it is not as much fun. If you want a Barbie doll shaped woman....I am not her...I have a few extra pounds (which I am working on losing!), and I am a real woman with curves that accompany a woman who has had children and who is my age. I am not at all uncomfortable with my body, and I believe that while my body is not perfect, it is perfectly me! He should also be secure enough to not be a jealous man. I have male friends that are NOT my sexual partners. I have no tolerance for games when it comes to my heart. I need a man who is willing to step up: so cheaters, liars and players need not apply. I want what every woman wants. A man to romance her, love her like crazy and allow her to love them in return with all her might.....without all the drama. I know it's a tall order, but one I am not willing to compromise on.I desire a man who wants to be happy with me for THE long term and is not scared of that. LOL! Commitment is not a bad word!By the way, I know some of my pics say ***, but that is because I had a new camera and did not know how to set the date! All of my pics are within the last year or two. I am somewhat old-fashioned when it comes to dating, so I would like to have doors opened for me, men who arrive on time, and who, yes, pay the tab. I tend to let the man take the lead, so he should have a couple of locations in mind to offer as potential meeting locations, preferably close to my home town. The first dates, for me, are about getting to know one another, and having fun in the process. Do not expect me to make out on a first date! Those things should happen in their own time and space. Besides, the best "fun" starts between one's ears. Romance and chemistry are a necessary ingredient to that step up.
