I'm classy, sassy, elegant and refined and I adore wearing retro & vintage dresses one day; and, the next I'm wearing jeans and enjoying a beer at a local dive bar. I'm a chameleon and a contradiction and I fit in anywhere and with anyone! However, my favorite outfit is a skirt with heels and silk stockings. Beware: I have a serious polka-dot obsession! I still have Midwestern values and a strong work ethic.Music is an absolutely HUGE passion of mine. I'm a devout listener and supporter of KEXP. My favorite genre is Indie and alt-rock. I go to concerts/shows several times a month. Some of the most recent shows I've been to are: Band of Horses, Cloud Cult, Rose Windows, Mudhoney, Black Flag, Best Coast, The Eels, & the Joy Formidable. I really dig 80's music and am quite fond of: The Clash, The Ramones, The Cure, The Smiths, Joy Division, New Order, Depeche Mode, The Stone Roses, Bauhaus, Erasure and the Descendents will always be my favorite!I have two adorable children, a son & daughter whom are precious to me and are my priority. I am committed to raising them to be fine, outstanding humans. I'm a package deal, guys! You can't have me without my kids. But don't worry, they already have an amazing father.I am incredibly lucky to have a career that I love and is quite rewarding. I actually wake up excited to go to work every day. I can honestly say that I make a difference in someone's life daily and this is very fulfilling. My career has spanned 20 years and I still am doing something that I am greatly passionate about and it brings me joy. I eat healthy, exercise, meditate, do yoga & qigong daily. I believe in prescribing meditation *** "medication". It's amazing what just 10 minutes a day of meditation will do for you.     I don't have any clue how to make this stand out.. So that my profile 'pops' and catches the right guys eye... Not a clue. So, I'll just say, I'm on here for the same reason as 'most' of you. I have a busy schedule and getting 'out' there to meet people isn't as easy as I'd like.     I like good conversation with someone who has something to say. It doesn't always have to be deep and meaningful but interesting is good. I enjoy all the usuals: movies (thrillers, drama), tv (House, The Closer, Project Runway, etc), ball games (Go Wolfpack!), dining out, grilling out, etc... I've been known to read multiple books a week. I prefer thrillers/mysteries but read other genres, too.; Coben are a few authors I like. When listening to the radio I am up and down the dial: pop, country, oldies, classic rock, hip hop/r&b. I love animals and volunteer at a local shelter.My ideal guy is intelligent, funny, caring, loves animals, and enjoys my sense of humor/wit/sarcasm. He should enjoy socializing and going out but also want/appreciate time at home; no bar flies, please. Hopefully, he can use a lawn mower, grill, and toilet seat; I'm willing to teach him to mow. :-) If it's a first meeting, it should be quick: coffee, ice cream, etc... If it's a real first date, dinner is good for talking and getting to know each other. Or how about bowling? Fun, low key, and everyone looks great in those shoes!
