I'm not like most women I DON'T get emotionally involved too quickly."Dating"it is ALL about getting to KNOW each other. So if you are just out to get in my pants, the only way that will happen is IF I FEDEX them to you in the mail! :) Well for me I think the WORST first date is going to see a movie! I would want to get to know you. I guess a movie is "OK" if there has been ALOT of interaction before. So My IDEAL date would be of course great conversation getting to know about each other, it can just be over a drink or dinner. Or maybe something outdoors like a walk in a park or by the river. Even better would be having FUN playing darts, any sports events, shooting pool, comedy club, bowling, Rock quest-rock climbing, frisbee golf or a challenge to TRY to beat me at some games somewhere like Dave & Busters! As you can see I DO like to have FUN and pretty much anything is great as long as you are willing to not take life so seriously and just have fun! I like good conversation with someone who has something to say. It doesn't always have to be deep and meaningful but interesting is good. I enjoy all the usuals: movies (thrillers, drama), tv (House, The Closer, Project Runway, etc), ball games (Go Wolfpack!), dining out, grilling out, etc... I've been known to read multiple books a week. I prefer thrillers/mysteries but read other genres, too.; Coben are a few authors I like. When listening to the radio I am up and down the dial: pop, country, oldies, classic rock, hip hop/r&b. I love animals and volunteer at a local shelter.My ideal guy is intelligent, funny, caring, loves animals, and enjoys my sense of humor/wit/sarcasm. He should enjoy socializing and going out but also want/appreciate time at home; no bar flies, please. Hopefully, he can use a lawn mower, grill, and toilet seat; I'm willing to teach him to mow. :-) If it's a first meeting, it should be quick: coffee, ice cream, etc... If it's a real first date, dinner is good for talking and getting to know each other. Or how about bowling? Fun, low key, and everyone looks great in those shoes!

I'm looking for someone that is ready to be done with dating and done with games. I am an honest, kind, very loyal woman that loves to spend time with the man I am involved with. I love to cook, travel, go to the city, watch movies, and just do everyday things together. I am very down-to-earth, not into being flashy or shallow things. What you see is what you get! There is nothing I wouldn't do for the person I am involved with, and I hope to get the same in return. I am a teacher, so am def looking for someone that has nights and weekends off bc I believe in spending as much time together as possible and building a great relationship together. (I can not stress the need for the same type of schedule enough....) Being 42, I really hope to meet someone that is interested in just one person (me!) and not into any drama or playing games. It's hard to meet people at this age, so please only respond if you are truly looking for something serious. Obviously, chemistry and compatibility are very important, but I just don't want to meet someone dating a bunch of people or just looking for "fun". I love to exercise and stay active. I take Zumba regularly and stay in shape. (As you can see from my photos, as the years have gone by, I have actually gotten thinner LOL, all due to Zumba!) I love hiking, biking, walking, swimming, picking up and going away for a long weekend. If I can be outdoors, I am a happy girl! Although, nothing beats a rainy Sunday cuddling on the couch, watching movies, ordering in sushi, and just having a relaxing day with the guy I'm with. I have 2 cats that are getting up there in age, so please don't be allergic to cats - they aren't getting locked up anywhere lol. I do drink socially, but am not into going to bars and sitting for hours and just watching people drink until they can't stand up. I like to be active, I'd rather spend a Saturday hiking up in the NY mountains or going biking in the Poconos than sitting at a bar. And in the hope of trying to narrow down some *** am getting. I do not want children. I am physically unable to have them, and never wanted them to begin with, so that is something that won't change. Also, I am not interested in dating anyone with children, regardless of custody situation. It just isn't for me. I'm sure there are many women that would love to be a stepmother, I truly am just not that person. I am 42, but look much younger. Most people think I am in my mid-30s so I am looking for someone my age, younger, or someone that looks younger. I have never been a girl with "daddy issues", so I am not interested in older men. If you are 45 and look 40, that's great. But I have to be honest, I'm just not going to be interested in someone that looks much older than me. I know I say it above, but I am truly only looking for someone that has a similar schedule. If you work nights and weekends - we aren't going to work out. I recently went through that for over a year - there is no point for me to try it again, it was a waste of time. Time spent together is crucial. I want to travel together, go on weekend trips, have dinner together during the week. If time can't be shared, I just don't see the point. I'm not looking for a hook-up, only a serious relationship. These things are def deal breakers.
