After taking a break from here for a bit, I have decided to give this another shot. I will be honest and upfront…I know what I am looking for and if you are into playing games, one night stands, saying something without truly meaning it, or a “wild and crazy” girl then please move on. With that being said…A few years ago I made the decision to start putting myself first. A lot has changed since then and with that I have been “rediscovering” who I am. It has been a process and at this point one in which I would like to start sharing with someone else.My friends would describe me as a quiet and extremely caring and thoughtful individual. I am more on the shy and quiet side but once I get to know you it is a different story. I have to admit, it does take a little to get through that shyness but it is worth it in the end. I am career and goal-oriented but also know how to have a good time. I took on a new position at work last year and what an interesting year it was. I like doing random acts of kindness; it brings a smile to my face hoping that I might have made someone’s day. I still often put others first; it is my nature. But, the past few years have taught me that I can’t help and be there for others if I myself am not in a “good place” so I make sure to put me first too. One way has been by becoming more physically fit and healthy. I made some major life-style changes over the past five years and it has definitely paid off. I now actively participate in many of the local 5k and 10k races. I have also had the opportunity to complete something on my bucket list (which 5 years ago wouldn’t have even been on it) by participating in two half marathons. Other things I enjoy include traveling, camping, cooking, gardening, trying new restaurants, going to the movies, plays/musicals, sporting events, and playing games/cards. I am a huge football person…during football season you will find me a local games and in front of the TV on Sunday afternoons. I enjoy other sports as well including professional bull riding…yes, you read correctly. My friends and family are extremely important to me. I spend quite a bit of time with both. Without them and the experiences I have shared with them, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. I am looking for someone who is caring, compassionate and thoughtful…someone who cares strongly about their family and friends…someone who has goals and a personal drive…someone who enjoys going out to try new and different things and places but also enjoys quiet evenings at home watching movies, cooking a meal, or playing games and cards…someone who is genuinely happy and who has a sense of humor…someone who likes to hold hands…someone who appreciates that I am a little “old fashion”…someone who is open-minded and willing to listen…someone who will be my best friend…someone who will help push me to be the best person I can be and who is willing to let me do the same for them…someone who will be supportive as I continue to “rediscover” who I am.

I like to go to a movie or go somewhere to watch movies at home. A nice walk while we talk is a good idea. It would be nice to go to a club or pool hall where we can just play around maybe playing darts or pool (even though I am terrible at both). To me the more time spent talking the better time I would have and that shows me there is nothing to hide.
