Living in a college town can somewhat put a damper on dating over the age of 25. So, here I am trying out the much-hyped internet dating scene. I am a very practical person in some ways, but a very whimsical person in others. That being said I will be content with just the fun of signing up for an internet dating service even if it does not produce viable candidates. I am a vivacious person and I can not stand being bored. For this reason, I am on the move quite a bit. On the other hand, I enjoy nothing better than sitting down with a book after I am tired from running around. Life is very complicated and I derive the most pleasure from the simple things in life. Mmmm...this is the hard part.I'm looking for a guy to get to know and spend some time with. Friends first and see where it goes. Ultimately someone who is looking to settle down and is past the club/bar stage. Not a hermit, just not every weekend. Ability to compromise. The older I get the more I appreciate this. A sense of humor, can laugh at himself and me. Sarcastic kind is a plus. Financial responsibility (and this doesn't mean rich, just responsible), relative happiness, and a desire to start a family (or add to it).
