The people who know me best would describe me as fun, outgoing, caring and social. I am exceedingly honest and loyal. I wear my heart on my sleeve and I dont say things I don't mean. I like a night out at a great restaraunt but I am also just as happy staying home in sweats, snuggled on the couch, having a relaxing weekend in cooking dinner and just hanging out. I love live music, country concerts are my favorite. I am inner city kindergarten teacher. I have been teaching for seven years and everyday is a new challenge, but I enjoy every minute of it...especially the snow days;..still not sure how that happened;) My family and friends are extremely important to me. Neither group is very large, but I have always been a firm believer in quality over quantity. I love to travel and experience new places. I love to bake, but cooking is a passion. However, in trying to provide full disclosure, I am terrible on the grill. Burn everything! So if you are willing to tackle the grill, I can take care of everything else. But I would love to find someone who enjoys cooking as much as me, cooking with a buddy is always more fun:) Im more of an indoor girl, but I will try anything at least once, and I am always up for a challenge. With me, what you see is what you get. I don't play games, Im not good at them, probably becuase they are the complete antithesis of everything i am. Im just a girl, looking for a guy to laugh with, experience new and normal everyday things with, and enjoy each others company.

I am crazy into to music. My taste is very, very varied, I like anything that is good, well at least what I think is good, and really what else matters ;) This automatically eliminates 99.9% of pop, the .1% is made up by Bon Jovi, I think it's his long frosted feathered locks, they're hypnotic. I could probably fill up ten pages of my fav bands but to keep it short;I spent my "youth" chasing my creative dreams. I used to be very active in the poetry slam scene in DC. While writing is still a passion of mine, as well as devouring books. Now, I actually own a dog training company. I spend most of my days at the dog parks and hiking trails, if not getting roughed up by someone else's Rottweiler. I really don't have a specific type. Its people's differences that make them interesting. So, to limit myself by saying I am only looking for this certain type of person, is rather self defeating. However, basic things that are automatic turn offs are; not having direction, or not having a sense of self, machismo, and being disrespectful to others who are different than you.For the most part, I am a pretty laid back, open minded person who likes to be challenged and always speaks their mind. I'm rather sarcastic and I tease a lot but I really do have a huge heart. There isn't much I wouldn't do for someone I cared about.Eta ***: for some reason, possibly user error it has my age as 32 and it won't let me fix it. I'm actualy 34.
