I am a strong, loving, nurturing mom to an 9 year old boy. I also recently took on the challenge of adopting my 11 year old niece and her 4 year old brother. My better half wouldn't be super into himself. He would make me laugh and likes to have fun. He isn't afraid to get his hands dirty (cause I'm not) and he likes to fix things. He can read a tape measurer and will help me paint. He knows what he wants and values what he has. He is caring and affectionate and can handle a little bit of a challenge from me from time to time. I am not getting any younger, and hope to find that one who I can't live without.I love country music as well as R&B. There's nothing like a good country concert. I'm not looking to go clubbing or to a lounge. If I'm going to go out I would prefer a hole in the wall bar or somewhere with good music that is chill. A jeans and flip flops kind of place :) No movies for a first date - that's just awkward. A walk on the beach or a drink some place low key sounds good. No need for an elaborate dinner followed by a drive up the coast. I'm a pretty simple girl :)

I will pretty much try anything once! I love movies, music and anything outdoors. I love sports, MMA and fast cars.... I am known to be a tomboy at times but definitely am more of a girly girl and love to look good for that special someone! I love to laugh, whether it is at myself or a perfectly executed prank! I have no problem laughing at myself and I am that person that is cracking up after I trip and am falling to the floor =) I will laugh even harder when reenacting it later for my friends! I love tattoos, off-roading in the desert and just about anything else you can throw at me. I am not into drama so please leave your baggage elsewhere! I want to grow WITH someone....NOT raise them =) Anything you wanna know just ask! I'm down for anything but for a first date, somewhere we can talk and get to know each other. I'm not a gold digger, I do just fine on my own thank you! It could be a picnic with the dollar menu from McDonalds and I'd be just as happy....but can we get an Ice Cream cone pleeeeease?? Love me some ice cream! =) Or I'm down for dinner and movie at my place or going to see a band play....pretty easy-going. I would like a relationship but am in no rush....just hang out and see where it goes.

I listed my personality in one word above as 'Animal Lover' because 'Bookworm' seemed incredibly nerdy and how is 'Sarcastic' not an option?! That aside, I am a science teacher who has not gone mind numbingly mad from middle schoolers day in and day out. Honestly, I kinda like my job. It took me until I was 30 to decide what I was going to be when I grew up so I'd like to stick with it. I like to hike in the summer and ski in the winter. I have a six year old son who I am getting into hiking and movies that blow his mind. He just watched Goonies and is now hooked. He wants to hike a 14er next summer so we were hiking a lot before it turned cold. Speaking of cold, I like this season called 'fall' we get here. I never saw it growing up in the South and it is damn near perfect before 'winter' sets in (also something I didn't see much of growing up along with 'snow').I'm a pretty open person so if you have a question just ask. I also don't take myself too seriously. I mean who can when 8th graders are critiquing you daily. Also, my heading comes from a favorite movie of mine and was the only thing I could think of when asked. It was either that or 'As you wish' which seems a bit much considering.
