I'm looking for someone who will hold to door for me but also someone who isn't afraid to laugh with me if I trip over the mat going through the door. I'm looking for someone who is comfortable hanging out at home watching a movie or doing something active like going for a hike or playing a round of golf (I've recently got back into golfing and am really enjoying it).I do have a geeky side but I can function in normal social settings. (Think Bernadette not Amy!). Also, I seem to not be geeky enough for geeks but am too geeky for cool guys...go figure :) I'm very independent and goal driven but I'm also pretty easy-going. I've got a sarcastic and sometimes dry sense of humor. I've got a girly side but I'm also comfortable using a circular saw and drill. Country music is usually what my radio is set to but I enjoy most types of music. I’d say coffee or a drink somewhere is a pretty good first date. I’d also be up for something a bit more fun like mini- I think those would be fun get-to-know-you options as well.

I have completed all my pre-reqs for nursing school and am currently on a break before I start nursing school, gotta get that damn money in order.I haven't had the best past so its a daily challenge to figure out who I am and who I want to be. I don't think a person should ever stop learning things about themselves. I still struggle with this on a daily basis.I lead a pretty low key life.I have an addicting personality, not really addicted to bad things but I get easily attached to television shows and fictional characters. I can admit, with no shame, that one of these obsessions turns me into a squealing fangirl.I'm not a huge outdoorsy person just because I have some joint and muscle problems. I would like to be more outdoorsy but I have to go slow. Ease into hiking maybe. I enjoy watching basketball but I'm not into other sports really, although I'll watch a football game if it's on...but I will ask questions about the rules.I love music! I'll try listening to anything once but I reserve the right to hate it. This is a horribly hard question as I think it depends on each individual couple as to what is a good first date. I like more traditional things like dinner or a coffee or a walk in the park.
