About Me

I am an extrovert and enjoy meeting new people. I love bama sports and running for exercise. I compete in 5ks and only run half marathons. I love to travel especially anywhere that has a beach. Would like to see more of my country especially out west and east coast. I have 3 dogs. I mini schnauzer and 2 yorkies. They rule my home but they return with a great deal of love. I love the lake and wish I had a pontoon boat to ride on and relax. I am looking for a potential partner. Not a game player. Someone who loves me for me not for looks or money. I want a financially stable man Prefer a college degree but that's not a deal breaker if we can share intelligent conversation A nice quiet dinner to get to know each other. With great conversation and hopefully that spark. Then a walk where there are lots of people but we see no one but each other. We laugh and openly flirt because we both feel the connection. And this should come easy and not be forced. I believe in chemistry and its either there or not. Then end the night with that magical first kiss that is so fantastic it goes on longer than it should. And then you both know, this is the one. Then more kissing!!!!

Woman. 47 years old. Zodiac sign: Aquarius.

Looking for: man. In age: 44-54

The last fifteen percent required to complete this profile was painful!! And it WAS written nearly two years ago, so after taking a year sabbatical, I'll try to freshen it up a bit and bring it current, slowly, but surely. Besides myself being straightforward, I also appreciate honesty and directness, in others too. I strive to be laid back...and sometimes I succeed! I don’t like to get into many hurried habits, and try to give myself some quiet space to slow things down if needed. I find that I really enjoy many simple things in life and I tend to be very present and appreciate what I'm doing at that moment. The times I feel most alive and peaceful are when I'm doing most anything outdoors. Some of the things I love are: hiking, biking, running, gardening, camping (tent, dispersed), scrambling up and over rocks, jumping into and swimming in water and kayaking, My kids are in their early teens and are getting to that age where they often like to do their own thing alone or with their friends. Although I still enjoy and appreciate the times when we can be together, I'm sensing it's time for me to be doing some more things for me and it's a transition...This (dating) is PART of that process...um...adventure? :) I love to find humor around me. I enjoy getting others to laugh too and tend to find (and point out) the quirky things that go on every day. I won’t be found laughing at someone else’s expense, unless it’s my own. I'm usually pretty upbeat and look at the positive side of things.) and usually try to give them the benefit of the doubt. I hope to find this deference in someone else, that is a tendency to not be too critical of others.I’ve always enjoyed learning new things or exploring new areas of thought and asking questions like, ‘why do people/societies/kids (etc.) do the things they do?’ I’m not a Chatty Cathy by any means, but I do enjoy engaging in thoughtful discussions. I’m fairly open-minded, although it might take a bit of time to wrap my mind around certain ideas. I tend to see both sides of most situations. Nothing is Black or White to me, only many shades of Grey. I’m glad of this, but at the same time, that means I can be slow and thoughtful when making decisions. But...spontaneity is enjoyed by me as well!I think I'm in a good space right now and look forward to meeting others (or one "other"), but honestly, I'm a bit apprehensive as well. It's been a long time (a couple of decades!) since I've dated much, so a little nervous and excited, all rolled into one!. I feel it's hard to really tell what someone's like from their profile (but I do get a kick out of reading some!). Probably meeting a time or two, is a better gauge as to what type of a connection we may or may not have together. I’m looking forward to a connection, when the right person comes along. And who knows,...it might be you.

Woman. 50 years old. Zodiac sign: Taurus.

Looking for: man. In age: 47-57

I am an independent woman but want a man that desires to care for a woman in every way. I am very busy with my family and daily life but does not mean I don't have time to take care of my man. I am looking for someone that brings out the best in me not bring out stress in me. I have no desire to be a sugar momma or any other type mom to a man. Speaking of a mom, I have kids that are grown but am very involved with them so you must see family as important. I do not want to be with someone that is not independent, good work ethics, job, car, not live with mommy unless it is cause of their health issues lol. I want to go out without being a financial burden. Want to travel, go see and experience the world. I like to go dancing, movies, dinner, friends hanging out, but just as happy to stay home cuddle watch good movie, play games, or just talk cause we choose to stay home not cause we can only go out if I pay as the man does not work or have money. As you can tell finding a lot of problems lol otherwise I am a fun person, with good personality that can be easy to love, As far as a first date, after some communication to get to know each other, would like to go out to a nice dinner with good conversation.

I'm looking forward to saying again. I've been divorced for about two years. I think its time to get back out there. A good first date could be as simple as meeting at Starbucks for coffee!
