I am not looking for someone to replace him, I am looking for someone to help me open up the next chapter in my(our) life, one day at a time, not ready to rush into a full relationship at this time, just want someone to hangout with and to have fun with, get on the open road and just take that chance, hold hands and walk down the beach or the sidewalk together. I feel as comfortable in an evening gown on a cruise ship as I do in muddy jeans in my garden, and have been in both this past year! When I am in "my happy place", that usually means I'm in Lowe's buying something for my latest home or garden project. Other activities that I love include Cross Country Skiing and Kayaking. I bought new touring ski's several years ago, and I also bought a Kayak that I can lift and transport to the lakes by myself. So, as you can probably tell, I am no couch potato and I'm not looking for a partner who is. That's not to say I don't enjoy a quiet evening inside watching a movie, or sitting in front of a fire with a glass of wine, but I am generally a person who likes to get out and do things.My other passions are music and travel. I love many different kinds of music from Rock to Country, Alternative to Ska and Reggae to Jazz. I recently started taking drum lessons once a week. I love it and look forward to practicing and hopefully getting better and better.I love the Finger Lakes Region, and I really enjoy spending time at the lakes kayaking at a friends cottage, or going to the wineries. I love cooking, (and being cooked for!), eating, and trying different wines and even different beers! Traveling is another passion and I try to take several trips per year. (So if I don't respond right away I might be away!) I am looking for a partner who has similar passions and a compatible lifestyle. Eating healthy is very important to me. My partner must be healthy in mind, body, and spirit. I have no room for negativity, addictions, or any type of controlling, dishonest or bad behavior in my life.
