I enjoy going to work each day....On some days I get a bit more dressed up than on others. But, on the weekends and in my spare time, I enjoy bicycling, roller blading and working in my yard. Springtime is the best when all the flowers start to bloom....shoveling snow isn't all that fun....After the work is all finished, I like to sit and relax with a book and a glass of wine. I would like to meet that special someone that is expressive and easy to talk with and may have some of the same interests. Someone that is honest, dependable and affectionate. Oh, and of course there's that chemistry thing too! I'm not into drama or games. Life is too short! I believe a strong relationship is based on trust, honesty and respect. A sense of humor is a good thing too... I'm sincere and faithful and looking for the same in the person that I share my time. I'm not looking to rush into anything too quickly...but looking for someone to share a journey. I enjoy going to the gym and staying physically fit. I'll typically take my gym bag with me in the morning and like to go 3 or four days a week. I'm also a bit of a foodie and enjoy cooking...usually try to prepare healthful options....Not tofu. It's more fun to open a bottle of wine and have someone to fix dinner with and for....Wine tastings can be fun too!It doesn't seem like Sunday without a football game on...I've not been to a game recently but that would be fun! Red's games are fun too and try to go a couple of times each season...Always fun to go to the game, have a couple of beers, watch the people and the game of course! Always fun to go...Maybe we should chat.... I think the first time meeting someone should be casual. Perhaps for a drink or coffee. Hopefully we can talk, get to know one another a little and make plans for a second date.

I am blessed with work that I enjoy and that supports me, family and friends who I cherish, and a house and garden that I love. I think my friends would describe me as a good listener, who is also very well spoken, a confident, upbeat person, and a caring and giving friend.A typical Capricorn, I am ambitious, hard working, cautious and practical. I have high standards and I love the finer things in life, but I also love to cut loose and have fun! I feel as comfortable in an evening gown on a cruise ship as I do in muddy jeans in my garden, and have been in both this past year! I feel in life that Attitude is (almost) Everything, and hard work goes a long way. I bought new touring ski's several years ago, and I also bought a Kayak that I can lift and transport to the lakes by myself. So, as you can probably tell, I am no couch potato and I'm not looking for a partner who is. That's not to say I don't enjoy a quiet evening inside watching a movie, or sitting in front of a fire with a glass of wine, but I am generally a person who likes to get out and do things.My other passions are music and travel. I love many different kinds of music from Rock to Country, Alternative to Ska and Reggae to Jazz. I recently started taking drum lessons once a week. I love it and look forward to practicing and hopefully getting better and better.I love the Finger Lakes Region, and I really enjoy spending time at the lakes kayaking at a friends cottage, or going to the wineries. I love cooking, (and being cooked for!), eating, and trying different wines and even different beers! Traveling is another passion and I try to take several trips per year. (So if I don't respond right away I might be away!) I am looking for a partner who has similar passions and a compatible lifestyle. Eating healthy is very important to me. My partner must be healthy in mind, body, and spirit. I have no room for negativity, addictions, or any type of controlling, dishonest or bad behavior in my life.
