Aha, caught you looking! This is a long profile, but hopefully it will prove useful to you.(I feel like a bit of a yo- How soon, I really couldn't say.)The *** I have a lot of passions. My steady sense of wonder and awe is what makes me feel alive. I like hearing a good bass line on the highway with the top down, I talk to my cats (who couldn't care less), and I live for good cackles with good friends. I love the look of a trim man in a t-shirt and jeans. I like letting a salamander climb up my arm (but can you be the one to take the spiders outside?), and I tend to jump in the ocean when I spot any dolphins. I dig discussions/Scrabble in diners, but prefer to read books and write letters outside. I have a huge music library and love something from most every genre (ok, no yodeling, sorry). I've got a nice evening gown...got a tux, anyone?In terms of how I am in relationships, I'm open, and I do talk about stuff when it comes up, cause I'm no mind reader and I don't expect you to be! But I don't want "the talk" every five minutes, either (yikes!). I'm emotionally vital but am analytical and philosophical about things. Shy underneath, I have an extroverted style, and I put people at ease. I try my best to understand rather than judge others. It just seems to work better to accept and be curious about others rather than to wait for them to meet our personal expectations, right? I'm holding out for the right intellectual, emotional and physical chemistry. I'd love to meet someone who's observant and curious and can find the humor in most situations. He's healthy and fit, understands himself very well, sees the value of sharing his feelings, and has a sound moral compass that jives with my own. Like me, he likes his space and doesn't require someone to complete him or to "always be loving life" (I keep seeing this here: do people really expect this? Are we all living on the same planet? Life is complicated!). A love of nature and innate kindness are also way up there for me.     I love traveling. Love the scenery and the mountains, and just everything about 'out west'. I enjoy horseback riding, going to the beach, having weekend fun. I raised my only daughter , Kristie 20, by myself. I'm very independent and take care of business. I do all the jobs around the house, cutting the grass, plowing, weed whacking, raking leaves etc, not to mention heating, like my pellet stove and furnace they are a full time job alone during the winter, constantly having to clean it out and haul pellets. I stack 8 ton of pellets a year in my basement by myself. I would like to not have to do them by myself anymore, I'm getting older and weaker, and need a man to assist. I have a lot of love to give, and hope for the same affection in return. I'm not looking for a 'sugar daddy' as my daughter calls them, I want a relationship that will be mutual in love and respect, I have been in too many relationships where i am taken advantage of because of my financial smartness... i guess you could call it that. i have excellent credit and always pay my bills. I have worked my way up and paid for everything that i have, and i'm proud of that. I just really wish i could have a man to share that with. I am very open minded, sociable, friendly, and happy i'd love to meet someone and make them as happy as they could make me. First dates, i like to keep simple, its really about getting to know the other person and their interests. Meeting for dinner, coffee, a couple drinks, any social event would be ideal.
