About Me

I am typically a very easy going individual. I can be shy at first but once I get to know someone I am good to go. I typically spend about 9 hours a day at work and spend many of my evenings at home or with friends. I do enjoy being on the go but can be totally happy cuddling up for a movie as well. I really enjoy cooking...problem is, I don't have anyone to cook for:( Currently, I spend a lot of my Summer weekends up north at the lake I grew up on. I am very close with my family. I have one sister and brother-in-law who have given me 6 nieces and nephews. I love spending time with them. I was raised with good mid-western values and have always worked. I am looking for a hard worker as well. Education is important as is a career. I am always striving to be a better person by continuously seeking opportunities to learn. I am currently working towards certification to teach individuals with autism after teaching in the general education classroom for 6 years. For fun I like to enjoy the sun, biking, shopping, garage sales, finding good deals, water, boating, dining out, cooking at home, baking, entertaining and many more things! You and I, on our first date....well, I am quite conservative on the first date. I like to meet in a rather neutral place like a coffee shop. We can meet, get a cup of coffee, and decide as we go, how long we want to be together. Sometimes you know right away that it isn't meant to be. In that case, it is best for both parties to be able to get out quickly and easily. I do not anticipate having this happen but I am just saying...Maybe that wouldn't be considered our "first date." Maybe our first date is after we have met and decided that we want to see more of each other. Ok...now I get it! An ideal first date would perhaps be dinner somewhere that we can continue to talk and get to know each other. I do like a man who can plan an evening on his own...so I am also happy with surprises. I like variety. Couples who go out to dinner all the time and that's all they do seems rather monotanous. I do enjoy movies, but only after we know each other. There is really no communicating in the movies so lets leave that until we have had several dates. When the weather is pleasant, I do enjoy being outside! That should give you enough of an idea of what I like to do...really pretty easy!

I played basketball in college and believe sports are better in person or on a HUGE TV...I watch football and understand what holding is...I'm an Executive Assistant. Yes I'm 6'0 and will wear the hell outta some heels!!! I like to go bowling. I'm a bit old fashion...I don't mind spoiling my man...I like to cook and do the laundry and make sure the house is clean. I've seen enough and done enough on my own, now I want someone to share it with...let me know...
