About Me

Hello there!I received a BEd from UVic and have been teaching in different capacities for 4 years. I am currently teaching remedial classes to elementary aged children at a non-profit organization. I fell in love with preschool aged children when I was asked to do a summer camp with them two years ago. After that summer I have made a goal to get my ECE degree as well. I am currently also teaching preschool five days a week. I volunteer a lot with Girl Guides as a leader. I enjoy working with the girls and helping them reach their potential as members of their community. I am close with my family and friends. I enjoy being outdoors and feel at home in the forest or at the beach. Camping in the summer is mandatory! I'm fairly laid back, honest, motivated, hard working, and would do anything for those I care about. I am passionate about education, enjoy travelling, and love good conversation. I am looking for some one to share the journey with. Someone who enjoys staying in with a bottle of wine or going out with friends to a local pub or curling up on the couch with popcorn and a great movie or going to cultural/community festivals. Someone who listens and is loyal and trustworthy. Someone who thinks of the little things, remembers the birthdays and can always make me laugh.     I love animals and I own 2 horses, 2 huskies, and a cat. I enjoy English style horseback riding – more specifically show jumping and cross country eventing. I’m looking to find my soulmate: a non-smoker, non/casual drinker, who is honest, active, wants kids, and is not allergic to animals. Pretty much anything outdoors would be great. The more adventurous the better. I love challenges, physically and mentally. Meeting for a meal or coffee is kind of cliché but I’d be up for something along those lines too.
