About Me

I am a simple girl with a positive attitude who is looking for someone to help me stay that way. I enjoy spending time with my animals and my nephews. Family is very important to me. I love activities that involve being outdoors and around the water but i am equally comfortable laying around and watching TV. I also enjoy cooking, working out, music (I listen to pretty much anything except rap and I even like some of that), art festivals, the beach, hiking mountains, gardening and relaxing. I tend to be a cross between active and very laid back. What am I looking I am looking for someone that will allow me to get to know them before trying to get me to commit. I am looking for friendship and that "connection" and not just physical attraction. Someone drug free is a must and as far as drinking, I don't drink alcohol that often but I do not mind someone that drinks occasionally as long as they know how to behave when they drink. I want someone that is ready to treat me with the respect I deserve. Conversation is important to me but so is the ability to listen and to stop me if i start talking too much. Independence is also a must. I tried to keep this short and sweet but I could have mentioned so much more. If you are interested in more information, let me know. I will say that I am not impressed by people that try to impress me with material things especially on a first date. A first date or first meeting should be kept simple and involve getting to know each other on a verbal level. I will also say that movies are not a good option for many reasons.
