I'm a voracious reader, news junkie, and have a sharp (read: sarcastic) sense of humour.I am an unapologetic fan of the Reds, Canadiens, and Bengals- I'm quite good about making my opinion made known. Loud.On weekends you can find me volunteering in DC (or all over the country), checking out really good used book stores or occasionally, chilling and napping.You're more likely to catch me at Irish music night at the local pub than out clubbing. I like the kind of places where there's great music, but you can still hold a conversation.I love to cook, and could definitely use someone to help out in the kitchen. Especially if that someone likes to chop onions - because unfortunately doing so makes me cry uncontrollably. My favourites are anything spicy, Thai or Indian.Reading is a huge hobby of mine (I have a wall of bookshelves!) and I'll basically read anything. Lately, I'm in a dystopia stretch.This year I cut the cable in favour of Netflix, so I spend a lot of time watching movies. The genres recommended to me are: Critically Acclaimed Gritty Thrillers, Foreign Crime Action and Adventure, Suspenseful Action Thrillers.The kind of person I'm looking for has these kinds of qualities: You have a fantastic sense of humour. You're just as comfortable going to the symphony as you are checking out a dive. You are secure in yourself, are decisive and dependable, and have goals that you are setting out to accomplish in life. -Trivia night with good beer involved?-Find a good museum and walk around DC?-Go to the farmer's market, then create something out of what we find?-Jump out of a plane?

I enjoy going out with friends, whether that be to dinner, a movie, a concert, or to a bar/club. I always enjoy trying new things and checking out new places. I think it's about time to change that! Because I had been concentrating so much on my education and getting to where I am now, I have not had much time to go out and meet new people outside of school and work. That’s the reason I’m here! :-) I'm tired of the "dinner and a movie" dates. I would like to do something spontaneous and fun!
