At this point, just want to hang out and have some fun. If it becomes more, great, if not, no big deal. Just to be clear though,; I want to be in a real, committed, loving, long-term relationship but I understand, you must have chemistry and "date first" to see, if they're the right one before taking the next step into a relationship. I don't believe in using people or leading them on and don't want any man that would be willing to do that to me either. We are not children and honesty should be a given. I'm ready to enjoy life with someone and hopefully find that rare, special love, that everyone dreams about. I'm willing to give it my all, you must be too! Not here for FWB's....you can find that anywhere, nothing special about that. Please be upfront about your thoughts and/or feelings. I will respect you for it. Even if you tell me, "Thanks but you're not what I'm looking for in a relationship"....I will appreciate it. You just saved us both a lot of valuable time. I'm not snobbish or rude but I don't have time to reply to every message and when I did reply with a polite, "No thank you", I started receiving hate mail and men wanting to argue their point. FYI: If I wasn't interested before, I'm definitely not, after something crazy like that...I don't understand the concept of convincing someone you are right for them. I respond to those profiles or messages that capture my interest and ONLY I KNOW WHAT CATCHES MY ATTENTION. Of course, physical attraction is first but it requires a lot more to keep my attention. Looking for my own perfect combination...not perfection, because none of us are! Which includes; chemistry, looks, respectful, sense of humor, personality, morals/values, substance too. I prefer to keep a SMILE on my face and enjoy life! I am mostly a fun, loving, very social & outgoing, kind-hearted, sweet, strong, happy and down-to-earth woman with the intent to keep as much drama, away from my life, as possible. My life is not perfect and I've had my share of issues over the years so I worked very hard to cut out drama-filled people from my life. Don't get me wrong, I am very supportive of my loved ones and I know that in today's World, a lot of us have to deal with the Ex's concerning children, etc. I understand that but If you have continuous drama with Ex's/old girlfriends who are constantly calling and texting with all their issues or acting as if you're still together....Stop right here. I'm not the one for you. I raised my 3 children as a single parent; 2 are adults and out living their lives, and I have 1 teen son still at home. Also have 3 grandchildren. Yes, I'm a Grandma (still sounds odd but I love every minute of it, haha!). ***I can NOT have more children but have no issues being with a man who has children and treating them as my own. I love kids and family is extremely important to me. Family is always first! How a man interacts with his family is VERY important to me. My family is very close including parents, siblings, kids, cousins, etc. Although I have a big heart, I am not a pushover and have a very stubborn side too. I was raised as an Army Brat so I've experienced a lot of the world and I'm very adaptable in most situations and settings. You will probably never see my mean side but I assure you, it exists, lol! I'm definitely an outspoken and opinionated woman so if you prefer the quiet, soft type...we are probably not a good match.I spend most of my time working and with my family. My youngest is at the age, where it's not much fun to hang out with Mom anymore, so I find my free time has increased. When I have free time away, I'm out and about with my friends enjoying lots of things like; dining out, local hotspots, dancing, riding on the back of a Harley, live music, movies, shopping, shooting pool, museums, concerts, festivals, the parks, the lake or beaches in FL, etc. I love flowers, yard work (it's very relaxing and peaceful), hiking, bicycling, picnics, camping, cooking out, canoeing or even just sitting outside on the porch late at night watching the lightening bugs (aka fireflies, haha), Vacationing at the Beach, the lake, the pool...definitely a warm weather person and enjoy Spring thru Fall. Not much on Winter months, except for the Holidays with family and friends, but it is a great time to snuggle up :-) I am focusing on self-improvement and a healthier lifestyle. I'm making great progress, so far; getting ready to start back to College (again) to finish my degree, eliminating negative things/people out of my life, eating better, lost weight and working out..still some things to work on but I'm much happier now and I have my goals set on moving forward from here. I want someone who has some focus on improving their life too. Feel free to message and ask questions, only way to know if we might be a good match. Depends, very open on this, just treat me with respect, make me laugh and let's have a great time and get to know one another. Usually something short and sweet, like lunch, drinks, ice cream, etc. is a great way to start and then go from there. If no connection then we don't have to spend hours together but if we like one another, we can always extend the date or plan the next :)

    I enjoy being active whether it is exercise, running, sports with the kids or a house projects (inside and out). I consider myself easy going and independent, but cannot resist being taken care of (and taking care of others). I enjoy my career, as it offers me a balance of problem solving, challenges, and the excitement of growing a business. Plus I get the flexibility to leave early and take days off. I've always loved the lake and am looking forward to spending more than a week out of the summer there. Plus, my jet ski needs more use! My kids are very important to me, but this does not mean that I spend every waking moment with them either. I enjoy watching them play sports as well as coaching them. I could easily do without the personal chauffeur on my resume, but I guess it is pay back for all the places my parents had to take me. I would like to meet a down to earth guy with a great sense of humor who can make me laugh, someone who is honest and enjoys sports. Someone that enjoys family time, but someone who also values getting away. A Patriots fan would be a plus as well. Something casual where we can talk.
