Laughing is probably my favourite thing to do. Seriously, I laugh a lot. I find humour, albeit dark at times, in almost every situation. Unless I'm tired and hungry. That's a bad combo for me so if we're out and I stop laughing get some food for me! I like genuine, sincere humour not shock value craziness (like Lisa Lampanelli stuff, yuck) and I enjoy trying new things even if I'm nervous. I love yoga although I don't go nearly as often as I would like. The studio I go to is great because the *** pretty easy going and they like to have fun in the class so it's always a giggle fest as I topple over trying some balancing move. I can be a bit clumsy as well so random bruises tend to pop up on me....oh well!I want to date a man that is confident in himself and knows how to treat a lady. I may not always act like a lady but I know I want to be treated like one! Just like I'd treat my guy like the man he is. Simple mannerisms and proper courting have gone by the way side and I'd like to see them make a come back. The words "please" and "thank you" go a long way. As does holding a door open, planning the dates and creative romantic surprises (no this does not mean put yourself in debt just to impress. In fact you get more points if it's not crazy expensive but equally impressive.I value tactful honesty and direct communication along with hugs :) Huge points for being able to get my coffee/tea just right. I think a relationship is about nurturing and taking care of one another in a way that respects your partner and allows them to grow as they need to. I'm a modern gal with some traditional views (see above about courting and manners)I Look forward to meeting you :) Start casual as a first meeting. If someone told me ten years ago that I would be 32 and single, I probably would have punched them in the throat and told them they were crazy lol. Well here I am...32 and single and luckily no one around to say "I told you so." I am educated and despite my rough exterior, I am looking for something real. I am independent and in the process of looking to buy a house, so no, I'm not out for any guy's money. While I'm on that topic, if you have no job, no car, you sit home and play video games and have no goals and aspirations, please don't even waste your time bothering me...seriously, I'm done taking care of men financially lol. I am a diehard Giants fan, but I truly enjoy watching football every Thursday, all day Sunday and Monday night...and I'm not some airhead bimbo that says they "love love love football" yet they call a touchdown a "homerun". I know the players on all the teams and I completely understand the game...try me, you'll be impressed. I am also a stand up comedian on the side. My passion is making people laugh...so even when I'm not on stage, I'm always entertaining.
