About Me

After being separated for 2 years now, I am very ready to meet a man that I can hang with. I've had an interesting couple of years. I've experienced a lot of loss (end of marriage, death of my Mom, father to Alzheimer's) and yet so much personal growth. I have 2 beautiful children. I was a sporty girl growing up with 2 left feet (when I dance, I bite my bottom lip - its not pretty) and yet I have a daughter that loves dance and sing and doesn't have an athletic bone in her body. My son plays hockey and I'm at the rink a lot.I love sports and you will find me playing squash at any opportunity (usually 3 days a week). I consider myself to be very grounded. My motto is "just be, don't try to be". I can enjoy pulling me hair back and camping in the rain as well as dressing up for a fancy gala or social.I've always been self employed and most people would describe me as quite entrepreneurial yet I think it is very important to have a work/life balance.I try to live life in the present and go with the flow. I can laugh at myself and love to see the humor in life. I really enjoy good food, good wine and intelligent down to earth conversation and humor.I'm looking for a man that is comfortable in his own shoes and who doesn't take themselves too seriously.I love to travel and explore.I love listening to music and enjoy many most genres.My kids are with their dad every other weekend.     I live life "full out" meaning whatever do, I do it with passion. If it's worth doing, it's worth doing all the way. I could write more about myself, but I prefer a sit down, face to face meet and greet to swap stories and share who we are to one another as this very first meeting may be the start of "our story." Just so ya know, I DANCE! I have a passion for the "act" of dance. I dance a minimum of two nights a week for cardio exercise. If you do not share my passion for dance, that is okay as there are 5 other nights of the week, Those nights can be our nights or if you do share my passion for dance, you are welcome to join me on my "gym" nights when I dance for cardio. However, let it be known, I dance EVERY dance for ***hours. Other than dancing, the one I am looking for will like road trips, out door festivals, rivers, lakes, rivers, motorcycles, the great outdoors, holding hands and cuddling. Waterfront dining where the conversation and company is as good as the dinner.
