Always on the go! I can be a bit on the wild side. Very social, love to be around lots of people. Listen to all kinds of music. Seek to meet a communicative person, open to everything new.

I am looking to meet a fun-loving man who really enjoys life and loves to laugh. I am interested in dating, but ultimately would like a committed relationship (not necessarily marriage). If you are only interested in a one night stand, you have definitely come to the wrong place. I have a strong personality, but I am not domineering. I am looking for a man who also has a strong personality, enjoys laughing and is passionate enough to satisfy the hopeless romantic in me. PDA is okay with me, but at our age, I'm not sure the general public is ready for it. You must have a job (I don't care what you do for a living, as long as you are financially stable). I have a good job, and have no trouble supporting myself and my 16 year old son. I like children and am fine with you having children also. However, I am not interested in having any more of my own (hello - I'm over 50! [lol]). A few things about myself - I am of Italian- I love, love, love to travel. It really doesn't matter where. Please don't be frightened, I clean up well, and can be quite charming (even somewhat graceful) for those important social functions. I walk ALOT, not only during my travels, but all around my neighborhood. I find it is great exercise for both body and mind. I also lift weights and do yoga regularly. I have been told that I am a very good cook. I am a big fan of television, enjoying everything from the classics to cartoons. I am also a Star-Trek-loving nerd (classics only). I enjoy sports (baseball, hockey, football), but am not a fanatic.Looking forward to hearing from you!! My location is very easy to get to from the city.I am a strong believer in chemistry, which is why the first date will always be short. We can go somewhere for coffee, tea or a drink. One more thing - I am truly 5'8" tall and like to wear 2" heels, so I noted that I am 5'10".I hope we hit it off!!

Online dating. It is such an unnatural way to meet people. You look at the pictures, and if they pass muster, you look at the content of the profile (if there is any)....and then you decide if you have the mental energy to send an *** I will tell you a little about me,and perhaps you will be swayed. I have put up the best pictures I could find......I am regularly reminded, as I meet people throughout the course of my workdays, that my life is pretty good. I am fortunate to live in a country where there is so much opportunity. I am in good health and well educated with a career that I enjoy. My three wonderful kids are doing well. But something is missing, and I have been looking for it for a little while now.My married friends sometimes live vicariously through me (I can tell some entertaining stories...) but they do not necessarily realize that the grass is not always greener over here. It is just different. While I enjoy the time spent with friends and family, it would be lovely to wrap myself around something (someone) other than that extra pillow at bedtime; to share the end of my day (and my days) with someone who is interesting and interested in hearing about it; to travel someone that I love. The man that I seek is intelligent and kind. He is a generally happy soul who is active and takes care of himself physically, mentally and emotionally. His actions and his words match. He knows how to flirt (because flirting is great fun) and has the power to make me laugh. He has the capacity to love with an open heart. He would rather be doing things than watching others do them. As for me, I can hold my own in conversation, so long it has nothing to do with sports teams. I can drive a stick shift, clean out the sink drain (not using Draino, but by taking it apart) and last year learned how to use a mitre saw despite my fear of power tools that have the potential for loss of digits. I do not need to be rescued. I have a decent sense of adventure, but every few years I forget that I have a fear of heights and do something crazy (for me) like parasailing. I go kayaking regularly in summer, have reacquainted myself with downhill skiing and I horseback ride. I am an avid reader, as I believe that lifelong learning is important for personal growth. I am kind and have been described as really nice (such a lackluster word). I was told that I was funny and at times have an obtuse sense of humor (I had to look that up to see if it was as uncomplimentary as it sounded). I appear shy until you get to know me....then not so much. I am affectionate and have no issues with PDAs. There is so much more to me (and to you as well) than what can be presented here.......we will have just have to talk about it....... whatever we decide......so long as we can get to know each other
