So yeah, I'm a bartender. I also have a great appreciation for classic drink making and the science of mixology, so I'd consider myself kind of a snob when it comes to spirits. Have your redbull drinks, schnapps, and flavored vodkas, and I'll have a real drink thank you. I have my bachelors in fine art photography but I haven't picked up my camera in a year or 2 now. I don't know what's holding me back from it. I do however miss it greatly, almost as much as I miss the times when people valued knowledge and truth more than their status on social networks. I'm perceptive which I think helps me read people well and also makes me extremely guarded and picky with the people I choose to engage. I enjoy people who are easy to talk to and who are as willing to listen as much as they are able to make conversation. I consider myself an intellectual. I value words and structure. I enjoy playing lame ass rpg's on my xbox, and when I say lame, I mean completely awesome. I love laughing and I have no problem laughing at myself, so I guess you could say I have a great sense of humor. I get it from my family, go figure. I'm a little insecure about my appearance because I've recently put on weight that I'm uncomfortable with since working in the food and beverage industry. You may or may not be able to tell in my photos, but I guess I hide it well wearing all black all the time. Lol I need someone to help me get active again. I love being outdoors and I'm down for just about anything. Take me hiking, camping, swimming, fishing, on some sick exploration or adventure... whatever. I'm down. I clearly love tattoos. I'm an artist and tattoos are art. I don't believe there has to be some deep seeded meaning for every tattoo. Most of mine are strictly adornments. I got them because I liked them. End of story. I pitty people who need a huge ****ing back story as to why they got some tiny ass heart on their wrist or that god awful tramp stamp. I love my family, we're crazy and solid, and I try to spend as much time with them as possible. I also love people who just GET IT. Some might say I'm jaded. I say I'm not one for settling. I've had a terrible thing for younger guys but I think I'm ready to try older because clearly something wasn't working. I love a guy with facial hair, no precision cuts or chin straps, and someone taller and more masculine than myself. If I can out drink you, RUN far away. I can be the girl you bring home to the parents. If you're lucky. P.S. I hate tribal tattoos and I only date white guys. Sorry not sorry. Well, hello there, human male.Of all the people on this planet, you've stumbled upon my profile. It must be fate. So what can I possibly tell you to make you believe that I am the woman of your dreams? I prefer drinking wine to cooking, reading to hiking, and am more likely to be caught getting a second helping of mashed potatoes than munching on kale. Smoothies and soups are not real food, in my opinion. I’m terrified of rollercoasters, and cannot for the life of me understand why anyone would willingly go through that experience more than once in their lifetime. I can kill my own spiders, though, but I prefer not to.I love long books and long roadtrips, and I enjoy life without worrying too much about whether I am doing it in a way that makes me look "cool" (I suspect that it doesn't, and I'm okay with that). I’m impressed by people who are not afraid to show kindness and be a little weird. Sarcasm usually goes right over my head.My friends put up with my introversion, and my future mate would have to as well. As a reward, I am usually a delight to be around. I can get along with just about anyone, but I prefer to have organic relationships with people who enjoy making others feel good about themselves, and can maintain a healthy balance between encouraging and challenging me.I am curious, independent, thoughtful, and considerate, and more than a little bit stubborn when it comes to taking advice. But most of the time I don’t take myself too seriously (in fact, quite the opposite), and prefer to be around people who like to do the same. I graduated from university twice, and now have a BSc in Math and a BA in Sociology. I still don't have a master's degree, though, and perhaps I never will, but I like to have that option. I currently have a full-time job in student affairs that I enjoy immensely, and that's what I plan to keep doing in the foreseeable future.I suppose that if you get to know me, you can come up with your own version of the above.Overall, I appreciate long messages that clearly communicate the fact that the author has made an effort to read through my profile and spent some time writing something more substantial than “Hey, how are you?”. I can tell you right now, I am perfectly fine, and on most days I am even great.Oh, and of course, shirtless self-portraits in a bathroom mirror are an absolute must in your profile.
