I have been divorced for over a year. I've made my peace with things and ready to move on to wonderful things. I am ready to get back to enjoying life. I have a wonderful job and two terrific children. My life is great, but I would enjoy having someone around to enjoy it all with. I don't know if I want to marry again or just date or just be friends. Personally, I think that would depend on the person I meet. I don't have a lot of serious hobbies. I like to be outside. I love to walk and have recently started to try hiking. I don't take like long hikes or overnight trips yet, but I love the mountains. I also read a good bit, shop, and travel when I can. I like history, and I love to go to places like old forts. I know that sounds nerdy. Right? I love the beach too! Who doesn't? I'm also happy to have a good meal at home and just cuddle up on the couch and watch movies, but I also love a great night out. I like all kinds of music. I do enjoy concerts as well. I want to have fun and enjoy myself, and I would like to find someone with whom I can do that. I am not necessarily looking for a husband. I would just like a date for the movies, to hang out with on the couch in the evenings, to go places with. That kind of thing. I enjoyed being married, but I am certainly not interested in rushing into that at this point in my life. I think I am a lot of fun to be with. I enjoy talking and sometimes just being goofy with someone. I love a person with a great sense of humor and who gets my crazy, sarcastic sense of humor as well. Oh, and if you are wanting something "naughty", try someone else. It's really kind of tough to talk about a first date without knowing the person a little better first. I can be pretty stereotypical and say a nice dinner or lunch with a lot of conversation.

Now mind you, I would not wish some of my life on satan himself, but there is a reason for it all. At this point in my life, I may just sit back and wait for a "sugardaddy"...lol. Seriously, I am at that point in my life where I am ready to live and love and to be loved, cherished and pursued again. I believe that I am a somewhat intelligent, (although I am sure it depends on who you ask..lol), charismatic, giving, compassionate, sympathetic, empathetic, strong-willed, open-minded, vivacious woman who wants to be treated with respect and as an equal. I want to be able to share my thoughts and feelings with someone special again and when I blurt something out, I don't want to hear "what is your point?" I may not have a point, I may just want you to know what I am thinking. Now on the flip side, my twin brother has told me that I can tell someone where to go and will pay for the trip so to speak.....now, is that bad? Maybe or maybe not? Depends if you are on the receiving end of that. With that in mind, I am also a woman who wants a man to stand up for her, beside me and if needed, defend me. Don't put me in a situation just to "test me". that is just trying to exploit a person and I won't stand for it. I also believe in honesty...sometimes brutal honesty is the best.
