I am attracted to someone it would who is hard working at whatever they do (I don't care what it is), cares for themselves, is compassionate, has a good heart, and has some sort of passion in life.I am ambitious, independent, and I love my job but try not to make it my life. I would like to transfer the extra time and energy spent on my job to a relationship. I try to be a good person and believe that we can all change for the better in one way or another. The perfect couple brings out the best in one another and respects one another. I hope to find the person who brings out the best in me. I prefer to be dating one person or being in a relationship rather than dating multiple people at once. I'm serious about finding the right person. While I'd love to settle down, it is more important to me to wait to be with the right person rather than rush into something with the wrong person. I will say that I am not the "clingy" type when it comes to a relationship. I enjoy spending a lot of time with my my significant other, but think it's healthy to have time apart as well. Some may call me picky but I refuse to settle for someone with the hopes that I can or will change the person later.

I love to dance. The outdoors, camping hiking, canoeing, cross country skiing are among my favorite activities. I'm very adventurous. Try me, I bet I'm up for it. I also value my quiet time, whether it's reading a good book, tea/coffee over a good conversation, or watching a movie.I really like people, there's so much we can learn from each other. I enjoy hearing others point view, sometimes I agree and some times I don't. I usually find the conversations that rub me the wrong way are the ones I learn the most from. I find conversations about social issues and the environment to be very interesting. I try my best to honor my self while being considerate to others and the environment. I try to send out positive energy where ever I go, I usually have a smile for that stranger at the bus stop.I consider my self to be a spiritual person. I believe in going with the flow of the universe, even if I sometimes try to fight it. I am not religious in a churchy way.I'm not really a girlie girl but I do like to dress up. I'm most comfortable in my favorite ripped up jeans, that old t shirt I got at a concert, I made or has some sort of sentimental value to me. That being said I work in an industry where being 'fashionable' is important so don't wear jeans and a t shirt most days. I really like theme parties. Halloween is not just for kids!I play Ultimate frisbee. I'm learning to salsa dance, and learning to play the guitar. Sadly cross country ski season is over. (I can role on flat water, turns out it's a lot harder in the current) I work at a job I love. Having worked saturdays for most of my life I feel I have not gotten outdoors enough considering how much I love it! I no longer work saturdays and plan to get in to a canoe and or go hiking as much as I can this summer.Some of my long term goals include, traveling over seas hopefully in march I'll walk the cameno de santiago. One day I'll hopefully settle down and have a couple/few kids with a supportive loving partner. I'd like to go back to school possibly after the above. I do have a back up plan to travel... a lot if I don't have kids. I'm not looking to rush in to a relationship. I'm quite an independent woman, I don't want to be in a relationship just to have a boyfriend. I always believed everyone had a soulmate. I don't know if I can believe that anymore. All I want is someone to want me for me, someone who wants more than a one night stand. I want to believe again.
