I have recently been described by a friend as a sheep in wolf's clothing. She said it is because at first sight I look like an unapproachable person, but I am actually a very kind and helpful person.For me, trust is the most important ingredient in any relationship, whether its just a friendship or something more. I was raised in a family that had Christian values but we very rarely went to church. I am VERY respectful of beliefs and if church/temple/synagogue... standing in the middle of a circle of vertically standing stones and worshiping a tree is important to you then it is important to me (standing among vertical stones actually sounds interesting). But the moment you tell me that because I don’t believe the same as you that I wont be able to go to heaven, or I will go to hell, or I will spend an eternity in purgatory, or I will be reincarnated as a toad in my next life... consider things between us permanently over.I am recently divorced and was married for twenty years. There is zero drama between my ex and myself.I like to do anything that involves the great out doors like camping, canoeing, water and downhill skiing. Photography, night clubs, movie theaters & hanging with friends are also things I do. I am also up to getting a red box and spending an evening together on a sofa.I spent most of my adult life being very large & over weight. Several years ago I took up running and lost 85 lbs and 14 inches from my waist. In the last 18 months I have not been able to get out running as often as I want. I hope to meet someone who can run with me and inspire me...or run behind me with a stun gun.I LOVE going to concerts. Night clubs with local musicians are terrific. My music interests are very wide and I like everything except rap and really hard/violent music. If you know who Steve Kaul & The Brass Kings are, we will definitely click.A few random facts about me:1. I prefer to check the time on my wristwatch rather than on my cell phone. It just seems to be more sophisticated.2. I have a very LARGE selection of MP3 music, but I am more likely, and prefer, to listen to music live.3. I have a very nice TV at home that is covered in dust.4. I always sleep with one foot sticking out of the end of my blankets. Don’t ask my why, I have no clue.5. I would NEVER buy a bottle of wine that is sealed with anything than a cork!6. I would rather watch a game live than on TV. I would rather play in a game than watch.7.
