I HAVE BEEN ON AN HOUR, AND MY PHONE IS BLOWING UP. IN AN EFFORT TO SAVE TIME, ONLY EXTREMELY FIT/THIN PLEASE A typical first date is coffee, but I consider that more of a meet and greet. I would say a date is dressing up for dinner ( by that I mean hot denim and a trendy shirt, not formal, because I wear a suit to the office everyday, so I will avoid that unless the evening calls for it) grabbing a glass of wine and listening to live music. I like concerts and comedy shows, but they aren't good for first dates, because you need to be able to really get to know one another over good conversation.
