Woman. 32 years old. Zodiac sign: Capricorn.
Looking for: man. In age: 22-42
Currently I am working as a 7th grade Math teacher at a public middle school. I have embraced my inner geek and recently earned a masters degree in math from UIC. However my dream job would be to stay at home and raise a family. I have owned my house since I was 25 and have thoroughly enjoyed remodeling it as well!I am recently back into the "dating" scene and have completely forgotten how scary/ difficult this is! What I have learned is that communication is one of the most important aspects of a successful relationship. In addition to that, it is important to attend to each others' needs. It's the little things that matter soooo much! The $ amount is far less important that the "thoughtful" amount! I have a sweet little girl who rightfully consumes most of my life. However, I am excited to get back out there and find someone to share this amazing life with!I wear socks to bed, dip my pizza in ranch, am addicted to coffee, can cook a mean meal, and am usually up for trying anything once! Lets face it, either the people I work with are dating or they are all married. Not a whole lot to chose from as far as meeting people! Since I don’t have a whole lot of time to go out… I thought I'd just give it a try, why not! I'M LOOKING FOR someone who can be romantic and put forth genuine effort in a relationship. It's easy to go out and buy flowers, anyone can do that, but to pack a picnic lunch with PB&J sandwiches to eat down at the lake takes that little extra effort and shows that you genuinely care! I’m hoping to find someone who agrees that the little things are what matter most. I'm a hopeless romantic, what can I say! I’m looking for someone who…. Is willing to put themselves out there, truly listens when I have something to say, is there for me no matter what, is trustful, is a friend, with a great sense of humor, has things in common with me, is able to communicate how they feel, that remembers all the cute stupid stuff I love, can make me happy when I’m sad, allows me to be my crazy silly self around them, knows I’m not perfect but treats me as if I am, and someone who is willing to put forth as much effort in a relationship as I am.*Note to guys: what happened to chivalry? What is strange to me is that a few times now, guys have contacted me and then immediately thought that I would want to come on over and watch a movie with them at their house... or have felt the need to discuss their sexual desires. Not only is that tasteless and classless but certainly not what I am looking for in a man. Please show some tact your approach. Once you snag us you don't want to "yank the hook out.". )"I apologize to you if I don't seem real eager to jump into a forced awkward intimate situation that people like to call dating. I don't like the feeling. You're sitting there, you're wondering do I have food on my face, am I eating, am I talking too much, are they talking enough, am I interested I'm not really interested, should I play like I'm interested but I'm not that interested but I think she might be interested but do I want to be interested but now she's not interested? So all of the sudden I'm getting, I'm starting to get interested... And when am I supposed to kiss her? Do I have to wait for the door cause then it's awkward, it's like well goodnight. Do you do like that ass-out hug? Where you like, you hug each other like this and your ass sticks out cause you're trying not to get too close or do you just go right in and kiss them on the lips or don't kiss them at all? It's very difficult trying to read the situation. And all the while you're just really wondering are we gonna get hopped up enough to make some bad decisions? Perhaps play a little game called "just the tip". Just for a second, just to see how it feels. Or, ouch, ouch you're on my hair." ~Vince Vaughn (Wedding Crashers)
