I take life on a day by day basis, but I do look to future at times as well. I am laid back kinda guy, and don't take life too seriously, however, I will be serious with the important stuff. I'm funny, intelligent and creative. I believe humour is important in a relationship, as it is in life and do enjoy a good laugh. Physical appearance obviously plays a part in what I like in a potential partner, as you see first with your eyes. However, the individual's personality, interests and humanity is what really matters Music is a passion of mine and I listen to something every day! Generally I tend to gravitate towards metal and rock, as they are what I enjoy listening to most. However, I indulge in various other disparate genres, such as 80's electronica and synthpop, country, rock and roll and classical. Some bands I love are Metallica, Slayer, Amon Amarth, Faunts, Morbid Angel, Entombed, Ladyhawke, Depeche Mode, David Bowie, Gary Numan, America, Lamb of God, AC/DC, Guns N Roses, Accept, Judas Priest, HIM, Children of Bodom, La Roux, Puddle of Mudd, Dragonforce, Mastodon, Opeth, Mumford and Sons, Baroness, Kansas, Jefferson Airplane, etc. My other main love is film. Once again there is a broad smattering of genres that I enjoy, whether it be action/adventure, drama, sci-fi, fantasy or horror. I also have a minor guilty pleasure for musicals and chick flicks. I enjoy also classic Hollywood and world cinema. I am a massive Quentin Tarantino fan and love every movie her directed/written. Some examples would be American Beauty, The Shawshank Redemption, Aliens, Star Wars, Harry Potter series, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Borat, It's A Wonderful Life, Citizen Kane, Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, Dawn of the Dead, Donnie Darko, Braindead, Haut Tension, Inception, Shaun of the Dead, Superbad, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, etc. Also have a penchant for movies based off graphic novels, with The Watchmen probably my favourite I am a self confessed geek and I'm proud to fly the flag! Graphic novels, science fiction shows like Star Trek and The X-Files, Doctor Who, computers, Apple-made gadgets, board games, Game of Thrones are all things that I'm proud to enjoy. I'm also an insane zombie fan! Watch many movies with the undead in, love The Walking Dead show and books, World War Z and The Rising novels are truly awesome! I even have the Zombie Survival Guide, so I won't be zombie chow anytime soon :) If I'm not engaging in the above, I'll probably be found doodling, reading, playing video games. having a cheeky pint or eating. When it comes to food, I am contradictory, as I won't eat much greens and I cannot stand sweetcorn, however, I have eaten BBQ-flavour worms! I have a fan of most cuisines, whether it be Indian, Italian, Mexican, American, French, British or my absolute favourite of them all; Japanese and sushi! Strangest thing I ate would have to be raw sea urchin I am also a big fan of tattoos and piercings, whether it be on myself on others. Its not a deal-breaker if a girl doesn't have any, but it most certainly doesn't hurt. I currently have one tattoo on my upper back, just below my neck. It's the Eye of Horus and it's based off a game that I enjoy playing. No longer have my piercing, which was a spike just below my bottom lip.
