About Me

I am an easy going, down to earth kind of guy who treats people with respect and as fairly as I can. I am a romantic, affectionate, careing man who does not mind showing it. I live on a small farm and take care of my 96 y/o mom. I am a Christian and my faith is very personal, I don't wear it on my sleeve or try to impose it on other people. I grew up on this farm and enjoy outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, flying, traveling, farming, gardening, etc. Music is a big part of my life and my tastes vary with my mood at the time. I played sax in the band from 5th grade through college and afterward. I like clasical, jazz, big bands, blues, folk, R&B, Gospel, just about anything except rap and hard rock. I have done volunteer work for over 29 years with the SC State Guard and with a general aviation based National VOAD, Aerobridge. We respond to emergencies and disasters. I enjoy helping people. I have been a licensed aircraft mechanic for 35 years and a student pilot. I would hope that the lady I find on here will be understanding about my family commitments. I hope she enjoys many of the same things I do so that we can do them together. I huge plus is if she likes the country and hunting and fishing and a double plus is if she is a pilot. I am looking for a good friend first and then see where it goes.... gota start somewhere. Ladies, I am not perfect, but I like to think I am a good partner, at least I try.
