Its been tough being a single mother but like I mentioned before, I am strong and I keep putting one foot in front of the other. The good news is that I don't have drop off's at McDonalds, or have any ex boyfriends or ex-husbands either. There is very little or no drama on this end. * Things I want to do before I die: Climb Mt. I am getting re-licensed to be a foster parent. I am not saying this is WHAT I am going to do....I am saying I am doing what I love and they say if you do what you love then maybe you will meet someone........I just feel I have so much love to give. It's like catch and release I guess. I use to be involved in fostering. Love them and let them go back to their families or get adopted. It is a great feeling when this happens. * I would like to meet someone who is honest. Someone who knows how to be professional at times then also goofy when the moment is right. Someone who can sit and watch a movie on the couch on a Friday night yet also likes to go out. I am looking for someone who when we are 80 years old can sit and reflect back on our lives and our children and remember those days. I am looking for a man who likes to camp, hike and be outdoors in the summer's then on the slopes in the winter. I am looking for someone who can teach my daughter things about life and to be her hero. Not sure about this internet dating stuff, seems to be missing that element of anticipation when you hope to run into someone and finally build up the nerve to talk to them after crushing on them for a while. I am looking to have some fun, nothing too serious for now though I don't plan to be single forever. I am not desperate and I am picky (don't we deserve to be?) I am a strong woman that can take care of herself (been doing it a long time). I have a good career, hit the gym about 5 days a week but I still have a lot of work to do. I don't "need" a man in my life, but rather want one. I own my home and got my sh*ttogether and am looking for the same. I drink some but not excessively and I think I have a great personality, so people tell me. I would like someone to go out and just have some fun. Love comedy, and live music, like to dance, would like to do more hiking and love doing "first time" things. I am looking for an adventure I guess you could say.... Must have a job (really need we have that conversation), must like kids as I have a 17 year old son and a 12 year old daughter and I am proud to say they are very good kids but you likely won't meet them for quite a while as I don't expose them until I know your worthy of their time. Don't mind if you have kids of your own as long as they’re a part of your life (no dead beat dads allowed) and I should add that I cannot have any more children. I have a small dog (Cairn Terrier) but I am highly allergic to most animals so I prefer someone without indoor pets since no one wants to make that decision later on should things turn out well.I like most music BUT opera and acid head screamer rock. Prefer country, rock, pop, and Christian.I do not do nor do I tolerate ANY drug use. Not looking for a quick hookup so if that’s all you want just keep on moving. There must be a physical attraction for both of us. If you are lazy, addicted to XBOX, don't pay your bills, sleep around, don't take care of your kids, are rude, or thing the world owes you something we definitely will not get along.Well that's a long enough book. Walk at the park, Coffee date, cooking class, putt putt golf maybe, live music, lunch, comedy club, meet for a cause (relay for life) are all just ideas of easy ways to get to know each other without a lot of pressure. Short and sweet is nice for a first visit, it usually doesn't take too long to know if you have some compatibility.
