About Me

I'm originally from Cleveland, and lived in NC before moving to AZ in ***. I'm a divorced/single Mom to a 14 year old daughter. I'm not a member here, but easy to find online as christine***. Places for free like okcupid, datehookup and pof. However, I'm not the belly dancer! I have a witty, sarcastic sense of humor and intelligence turns me on; as in sapiosexual. I'm an only child with an only child; my daughter takes up quite a bit of my time. She takes dance classes 6 days a week and a circus aerial class the 7th day, so I'm a taxi mom until she gets her license. She comes first in my life, but there is plenty of room for others, and I always make time for the important people in my life. Even busy moms need to have adult fun once in awhile. The phrase, adult fun, can have different connotations. I'm open to all the possibilities, but please don't make assumptions. If you're going to contact me, please be a gentleman. I deserve that respect, I'm more than worth it, and I won't disappoint. Yeah I pretty confident about a lot of things, but I'm not at all arrogant. I subscribe to the philosophy that life is what happens while we're busy planning it. Of course we have to have plans and goals, wants and desires, but at the same time, we have to be willing to go with the flow and deal with what life throws at us, then embrace it. Sometimes one can pass up someone great because that person is not on his agenda. Therefore, I don't have an agenda when it comes to dating. I have the ability to relate to different people in different ways based on any number of factors. If everything is in alignment, great; if not, so be it. I'm open to all the possibilities. I don't smoke. I drink occasionally, but don't ever get drunk. I've never cheated nor been cheated on within a committed relationship. I'm well educated, well-traveled, confident, responsible, reliable, honest with nothing to hide, humorous, a loyal friend, a lady in the street... I'm looking to spend some time with and get to know someone kind, honest, open-minded, adventurous, willing and able to converse, has a witty sense of humor, can laugh at himself and at me, has pride, but not false ego and enjoys life. I don't date smokers and shy away from republicans/politically conservative leaning men.     I have an idea that's stuck in my head. I see a small rustic cabin in the middle of nowhere, couple horses, shop with a couple big trucks, gardens of herbs, spices, fruits and vegetables, living off the land. Maybe some cattle, chickens, yada yada... Id like to get into herbal medicine and tanning hides, basically anything that has to do with wilderness living. A quiet country setting where I can spend the rest of my life. That type of lifestyle is hard work. If I had it my way, I would be able to live without working in town by finding other ways to make money. I want a simple life, so very little money should be necessary anyway. Over the last 5 years I set myself loose and packed my truck with nothing but my camping gear and left everything behind, looking for an area I'd like to settle down in. One of those times I camped in a tent for four months, alone with my cat and dog.I want at least 40 acres, with a river, streams or lake front. Accessible by truck. Either I have a cabin built or I pay to have one built later on. I don't know much about all this stuff. It would be the other half of my dream to find a man with the same dreams and build it together. You lead, I follow. Im going to do it with or without a man though, it will just be a little more difficult trying to figure it all by myself. All Im saying is that if you are interested in something more serious, that this is who I am, and if you don't have the same lifestyle in mind, then it will never work. I get a lot of responses from guys that prefer the city lifestyle, wear their hats on sideways and listen to hip hop...lol Just trying to narrow down some results here guys.
