I am a young-at-heart and spirit, father of two kids seeking a soul mate with whom to share my life. I'm open minded to everything new. In the end, chemistry, shared sense of humor, and the ability to just hang in comfort with another determine if two will end up together. I believe that relationships must be built on a foundation of RESPECT. What do I respect in a woman? I respect a woman that has arrived at a place in life where she loves herself and forgives herself. We have all experienced loss, and for some, truly trying and painful life experiences. And most of us coped with them the best we could, given the tools we had at the time. In our adult lives, those coping mechanisms no longer serve and we need to examine those experiences – welcome them back in with love and acceptance – and INTEGRATE them into our beings. “Suck it up”, “Get over it” and “Let it go” are truly not effective strategies in dealing with loss to achieve joyfulness and fulfillment. Self-awareness and a practice of self-love and self-forgiveness are essential to this integration. Spiritual belief is good; a spiritual practice is far better. I respect a woman that is POSITIVE. I believe strongly that regardless of our life circumstances, we have a choice each day to CREATE happiness, as opposed to PURSUE happiness. I respect KINDNESS and COMPASSION in a woman. To me, compassion for others means knowing that in any situation or dealing with anyone, that person ultimately just wants what every human being wants - unconditional love and acceptance.
I am looking for a THOUGHTFUL woman, as opposed to merely an intelligent woman. Thoughtfulness requires intention, whereas intelligence is inherited. Four of the most insightful, game changing books I’ve read are “The Power of Now”, “Spiritual Divorce” by Debbie Ford, “The Four Agreements” and “The Happiness Advantage” by Shawn Achor. For raising children “Parenting with Love and Logic” and “How to Talk so Kids Will Listen and Listen so Kids will Talk.” If you found any of these books compelling, wonderful! I am looking for a woman that does not need to be in a relationship to be fulfilled. I love my life and am whole and complete just as I am. That said, I do want to share and enrich my life with one special woman who inspires me as much as I inspire them. I would like to be with a woman that enjoys a very physical relationship. I am very passionate and physical with the right woman. Both partners needs must be met and satisfied.
