Someone who enjoys life without taking it too serious but who is responsible enough to maintain. Someone who loves to laugh ... a brave soul. I'm looking for a man that I can hang out with and just relax. Someone that doesn't stress the small stuff and knows how to enjoy himself.I'm a pretty independent woman and I'm used to taking care of myself but having a partner always makes things easier and more fun. I am quite happy with where I'm at in my life today but would love to meet someone to have fun with. The perfect guy would be a man who is independent, not clingy but at the same time would enjoy time spent together. I am not looking to take care of anyone nor am I looking for someone to take care of me. I wouldn't mind taking care of each other.I plan to spend the rest of my days trying to be the best mother to my two kids that I can ... and the best grandma to my adorable 6 month old granddaughter. My kids are the highlight of my life ... I talk to them often and spend as much time as life allows with them. They are both very busy young adults and I feel privileged that they choose to spend the time they do with me. We always have a great time together and it never gets old. I spend a lot of time with friends and have a great time doing it. I am not a clingy person and love my alone time but am by no means an isolator. It's nice to have someone to share your days with and even nicer to have someone to share your nights with.I would love to meet someone who has some similar interests but also has something new and exciting to teach me and introduce me to. I am open to new and different experiences and am looking forward to the next chapter of my life. I do a lot of service work because I believe in giving back. I'm blessed to have the life that I do. I'm spiritual but not into organized religion.I like to golf. I don't play well but I have a great time. Friendly poker games with an interesting group of people is always a good time. I'll go to the beach anytime even if it's just to drive there and back although I'd rather spend some time enjoying the ocean. Music is a passion of mine. I'm not musical or creative myself but I enjoy live music and am a fan of classic rock. I have a son who is in a band and I love to go to their shows and support them. I look forward to doing some traveling in the near future. There are so many places I haven't been ... yet ... and so many places I'd love to go.I love fireworks, baseball games, the river, the lake, zipping across the water on a Seadoo or in a bost, camping with friends. I have amazing friends who are a huge part of my life and who would do anything for me. That's a great feeling. I love life and all it has to offer. I try to live it to the fullest every day. I think that most of us at a certain point in life want the same thing... to meet "that person" to live happily ever after with. I believe that's where I'm at today.I think a first date should be pretty brief ... maybe coffee ... a quick drink. Somewhere in public but not where either of us usually hang out so we won't have to be nervous about running into friends and trying to explain why we don't know who we're waiting for. Once you meet the person ... then you can have the option of making plans for another time or ending it within a short period of time and saving you both the uncomfortable dragging on of something that isn't going to work.

Some movies I enjoy watching usually involve Bruce Willis (All five Die Hard Movies), and then I love watching crappy horror movies and just laughing through the entire length of the movie. I am also not one of those types of girls who would rather spend every cent they earn on clothes and make-up. To tell the truth, I shop maybe 4 or 5 times a year to clothes, and that’s just to change with the season, and with gift cards I get for holidays. No, I would much rather go out and play football with the guys, regardless of how well I play. So, please feel free to drop me a line to chat. I am open to any type of person. I do draw the line at people who are looking for a one night stand. That’s a large resounding NO.My first date would have us going out for dinner, talking over a delicious meal. Sitting at the table for longer then it takes to finish out dinner. Laughing over experiences, and learning more about each other. Then, after the dinner, since movie theaters are so impersonal, and no one likes a chatter box, we would go out and walk by the river, if the weather permits it. Then, maybe if we would like to just sit back and watch a movie, we could go back to one or the others place and watch a movie where it wouldn't matter if we chatted to each other.
