About Me

Hello. If you've found this, you are in for a rare treat. Now that you have though, I suppose I owe you a few words about myself. I'll update this as my creativity stops ebbing, but for now I'm gonna stick to the KEYS TO SUCCESS.Hobbies - Knocking over Port-a-Potties, spitting at cars from overpasses, and giving noogies. Aside from that, I like to play golf whenever I get a chance. No lie, I actually improved my game by playing it on the Wii (RIP Wii) and my parents live across town and live on a course, so I go there fairly often to steal free golf. I'd love to tell you that I ski a lot too but it's not true. I enjoy it, but that drive up/down I***keeps me from going nearly as often as I'd like. Dad taught me not to turn like ever and I ski really fast when I do bother to ski. I have a road bike that I would like to use but don't want to be seen in the spandex butt-pad pants. I used to play hockey but only watch it now and oh God do the Avs stink. I like to make jokes about everything and I'm not to be taken seriously. I unapologetically watch TV sometimes (if you don't own one you're probably too self- That, and Breaking Bad and Justified are about the only "current" shows I like...well, Mad Men too. I'll still watch Seinfeld in syndication even though I've seen it again and again...and yeah, Curb Your Enthusiasm too. Goals and Aspirations - I want to somehow unleash my creative genius on the world. I haven't figured out what form that will take, but I know I've got some stuff locked up in my brain that is being wasted by doing spreadsheets all day. Short of that, I guess I'll spreadsheet my way to a CFO job, which is where I should be right now. What Makes Me Unique - I think the internet has taught me that I'm not as unique as I'd like to believe. What makes me unique is that I recoginze that and pride myself on originality. I value originality and therefore cannot stand Family Guy. There's a time and place for regurgitating others' thoughts, and context is the key. It still doesn't make me unique. (I say this fully understanding my headline was lifted from The Simpsons.) I don't know, would getting a real sick pleasure out of watching those corny SyFy movies (like Huge Gigantor Shark Who Eats Planes) make me unique in the slightest? Oh hell no, that stuff is way too funny for me to keep to myself. My Taste in Music - Stuck in ***! When music thievery got to be a huge thing, I was all in. I kept up with it and had a voracious appetite for loads of music, mainly indie rock, but somehow fell off a few years ago. My tastes changed from the hipsterdouche community, there were too many voices telling me what was great, and fewer of those voices were reliable. Anyway, I still love rock and roll (and slipping song quotes into conversation when I get a chance), punk, jazz, Motown, old school country... It will change if I'm not too lazy to do so. I enjoy doing something low-pressure to start. Have some fun! Break into a warehouse and light it on fire, or maybe just something corny like playing pool or mini-golf so you bury the rest of my ego. Maybe have a drink or two, loosen it up.

I want to sell everything and buy some property on a lake and build a treehouse! For now.......I love exploring new places, taking random drives, spending time with my dogs, being awesome, going to auctions, shows, museums, galleries, etc...; doing all of that is better when shared with someone . I have always done what I thought would make me a happier person and I continue to find out who I am and what I love. I am non-judgemental and am a great communicator; I try to be supportive in every situation. Really what I want is someone with a little free-time like me, that wants to take drives, go on weekend excursions, go to concerts and festivals and just have fun. I am open to any and all possibilities and welcome the chance to meet someone special. UPDATE: Recently lost 80 lbs. and got in to shape. First date, well, I suppose a nice dinner/lunch in a quiet place where we can talk and get to know each other. I think first dates are very important and it is good not to try to do to much.
