    I'm not exactly sure what to write here. I work a lot, with animals, so it goes without saying that I love them. I suppose in that regard, my job at least partially defines who I am. As far as my own pets are concerned, I have a border collie and two cats. My dog is my near constant companion. We participate in a variety of canine sports, and are very active in therapy work.I'm also a single father, and again, this partially defines me. Okay, it defines me, period. We're very active, and we're always out and about doing something.When I have free time I enjoy the outdoors. Hiking, backpacking, kayaking, etc.; I'm really interested in meeting someone who rock climbs. I've never been, but I'm dying to try. Despite the fact I routinely listen to death metal while working out in the gym, I'm a big classical music fan. I don't really drink, but I enjoy wine festivals. Odd, I know.I know it sounds like my life is very busy, and it is, but don't be fooled, I love my down time. Nothing beats a great nap, or a lazy day here and there, I just don't get them often. I honestly consider myself very low maintenance. I'm definitely not someone who needs to be constantly entertained. I'm just content to be in good company.Lastly, I'm very interested in meeting someone who is into volunteer, charity and/or therapy work of some kind. It's a big part of my life, and it's also something I'd like to involve my daughter in. She already accompanies my dog and I at times. I simply find that being involved in something bigger than yourself is important.
