Distractions: Photography, music, and film are some longstanding interests of mine. I know anyone can say that, but it's the truth. When I hear about a new musician, I listen to most of their discography; or if it's a director, I'll watch a handful of films they made to expose myself to their style. In photography, I largely taught myself while taking credits at Ryerson's Chang School. I use film or digital and enjoy the unique shooting experience of each.; And music? Everything. I'm not "open minded" meaning I tolerate all music - over the years I've genuinely grown to love most musical styles.Other endeavours: hiking, camping, catching frogs, being outdoors, stargazing, coffee, headphones & hi-fi, gardening, cooking, eating healthy, farmer's markets, haunted houses & the paranormal, running for exercise, trees, portraits, computers, spirituality, writing, deep thoughts, ideas, sometimes meditation, and sharing interests. Nature is extremely important to me, and well, I just feel very calm and right at home when I'm walking a trail or taking in the smells. Goals: In the past, I went to a Recording Technology school (OIART) and took Photography Studies credits at Ryerson's Chang School. Through the latter, I discovered my natural talent for Photography and have been shooting for at least 5 years. I've returned to school in order to pursue photography in the museum field and/or work with photographs.About You: positive, reliable, kind, communicative, laidback but not flakey, a good listener, funny, supportive, has a natural curiosity about the world and loves nature. I realize everybody is different and so and so; write me anyway, I can understand not everyone is used to articulating their strengths.All in all, I'm just looking for someone simple, with a big heart, and down to earth who is capable of being ridiculously happy over the simplest of activities. I am a Musician who maintains a trade to aid in my ability to be a musician. If things went my way I would be a professional musician. I have a nice collection of guitars and other ***, I play some better than others. I am a strong but gentle personality who enjoys being independent and self sufficient. I enjoy sharing a complex bottle of wine with a carefully crafted meal (I Love to cook) under candle light.I prefer to listen to my music on Vinyl, most new albums I buy are solely on vinyl. I don't mind CDs and MP3s in my car or when I travel, but in my home I love the ritual of pulling out an old LP and listening to my music one side at a time. Most of the music I listen to is very ethereal and visceral. I enjoy exploring altered states with my music. Some of my favorite bands/artists are; I don't enjoy watching TV. There are shows I like, but i don't like switching off in front of the "Tube". I am a big fan of well produced, well executed shows, like Breaking Bad. I also enjoy twisted cutting edge comedy.I really enjoy reading, I'm a big fan of my e reader. Holding a real book was nice, but the ability to carry thousands of books in my pocket kind of out weighs the nostalgia.I find myself listening to pod casts in the time I would have watched TV.I do enjoy exploring my partners body while embraced in tantric connection.. Transcending the simple act of friction and penetration, allowing us to become one and embrace the collective. I don't get drunk. I do enjoy a few glasses of wine or apple cider, often home brewed. I am becoming a very skilled cider and wine producer. It really depends on the person. I always find a nice way to break the Ice is a nice restaurant where something new can be experienced. If the meal goes well, plans can evolve from there. Even going for a drive with no destination in mind with great music and wind blowing through our hair. I find those early moments in a meeting give way to some great conversation if the connection is there.
