So, I've done this before but it's been a little while. Just kinda took a break from the online thing : ) I am so happy and very fortunate in my life ~ I have 2 amazing (grown) kids, a beautiful home that I have lots of fun improving (thanks HGTV and DIY Network), a fantastic job that I'm so thankful for, but obviously I'm here on meetville for a reason though. I blame being single on the fact that I have a pretty small circle of friends and family that I hang out with and I'm pretty shy at first... for like 5 minutes. I'd like to meet someone who has confidence and loves to laugh. Someone who takes care of themselves and likes to challenge themselves. Most of my days consist of family, going to the gym, riding my horse, doing stuff around the house, and getting together with friends. I work a few days a week, actually at night though. I suppose that's kind of the basics about me but if you're interested in knowing more then just ask. First date or first meeting? I think we'd have to figure out some common interests over the phone and then get together and see if there's any attraction. I should probably disclose that I don't drink coffee but Starbucks seems to be a very poplular place to meetup which is funny probably for the employees to observe. I can find something on any menu and I'm very happy with green tea frappacinos : )

I consider myself a fully self-sufficient human being. I believe I can, for the most part, do anything I put my mind to. I am very comfortable living and being adventurous on my own....ah, but I would love much more to share life and experiences with a mate. For me there is nothing richer than to share a life of passion, adventure, communication and love with some. I dig being as green and healthy as I can. Love nature and growing my own food and sharing with others in need. I run a non-profit that does just that. I love animals, especially companion animals. I have two large dogs, a kitty, two tortoises and even a cackle of hens. (no, I don't eat them, pest control and fresh eggs). I do not hunt and pretty much for the most part not attracted to those that do. I am all good if that is what you do once a year to put food on your table, but not for sport. I have a HD, but I am not a bik#er chick. (had to take out some words here because I was being stereotyped for matches. oh and sorry I have no ink) I snowboard, ski, used to fly air planes and would like to back into this. I hike, scuba, surf, ballroom dance, garden, cook and love to laugh and have fun. Joy is the key to a healthy happy life.I am the CEO of a local non-profit and I have my own business in the "eco health" industry. I stay busy and you usually won't catch me in front of the tv, except on Sun. evenings.... I own my own home and vehicles...Truck for work, sports car for fun, rv for get-a-way, a motocicletta (google translator) for my adrenalin addiction and oh, got rid of the boat. I love my life and would ultimately like to find someone to share it with. Again, I am self-sufficient, and a pretty "strong" women, I need and want a strong man. Not ego centred! Confident, balanced, sure of himself, but not****....and you know the difference. I love learning new things and taking new adventures. I am currently studying the Italian language and absolutely love it. I will be hiking Tuscany in Sept ***....so excited.Ciao Bello!!!PS - MEN, I would like to give an insight. I hope it doesn't offend any of you, not my intent. Now I can't speak for all women, but for me the self pics, especially the bathroom mirror pics send a few messages. The biggest one is you don't have someone close to you in your life that would take a pic for you. For me, it really shaves off quite a few points right up front. So take the time, find a buddy and put up a nice pic or two. You will catch more and better quality fish with better quality bate. ... just saying. Meet for a coffe/tea, breakfast or lunch see if we connect. I think at this age we can get a pretty good sense in the first 30 minutes. If it is a good connection we go from there. I know, not very romantic, but people are busy and I just want to keep it real. Promise if we get to second date it will be a lot better :o)

My friends would tell you I am nice, generous, funny and fun to be around. I enjoy holding hands, kissing, snuggling on the couch and consider myself sensual and romantic . I like laughing and making people laugh, even more. I do take pride in my appearance and taking care of my health is a priority. I am love to stay active. Hike, bike, yoga are at the top of the list, but love to try new things. We live in a great place to do things outdoors, don't we?I am told that I am a pretty decent cook and do enjoy cooking for someone special, but only if you are willing to do the dishes LOL. Authenticity is vital to a healthy partnership. I truly believe a friendship is the foundation of a working relationship and will lead to intense intimacy.I like most music (probably not rap). Especially 70s&80s contemporary rock, classical and just about anything live.I love being outdoors, but enjoy a night in as well. Talking, laughing, eating good food or out somewhere where you can people watch, awesome! My ideal vacations would probably be spent visiting any of our country's national parks. movies are fun (but not for a first date). Not much of a drinker but do like live music and dancing; I can appreciate a good meal for sure, either in our out. Sometimes, however, the best first date is something casual like meeting for coffee
