I moved to the area a few years ago from a small town in Central VA. I'm definitely a country girl at heart, but I can hold my own in the big city. I spend my weekdays working, going to the gym, and taking classes for my MBA. Occasionally I'll hit up a happy hour, but I usually save my going out for the weekend. I'm a warm weather girl. A total beach bum. I'll take a weekend trip to the beach, lake, river...any body of water...at any time. I love to travel as often as possible. And I'm a huge sports fan, both watching and playing. Football is my favorite to watch and volleyball is my favorite to play. I also enjoy golfing. I'm awful, but I like to try! I recently got a road bike so you get bonus points if you're into cycling. I'll read any good book...currently it tends to be text books :( but hopefully I can read a few for pleasure on some beach trips this summer! Rock, country, and definitely 80s hair bands are the concerts I don't want to miss! What am I looking for you might ask???? I want to start by making friends. I want someone to go with me to the driving range, walk around DC for the day, or just hang out and a watch movie. I'd like someone who can challenge and engage me mentally, someone who can put up with my sarcasm, and someone who can make me laugh...and who will laugh at my jokes...even the the bad ones! ;)Honesty is key for me. I give nothing less and expect the same in return. In the spirit of honesty, I should give the disclaimer that I am only attracted to white guys. I am not trying to be rude or narrow minded, but I like what I like...just being honest. Also, if you're looking for a random hookup or friends with benefits, you're out of luck here. I don't want anyone wasting their time thinking otherwise. I'm straightforward, honest, intelligent, driven, sassy, funny and confident. If you can handle that, then I'd like to hear from you. Anything else you wanna know, just ask...I'm an open book! If it's nice out, let's go for a walk, do something outside so we can talk and get to know each other. Hi! Well... here it goes, a little about me... For starters I do own my own business so I do work a lot and spend a lot of time doing what I love! I have fun doing pretty much anything! I enjoy volunteering, good conversation, a good cup of coffee, walking, exercise, yoga, playing with my dogs (I have two & one cat), going out with friends, shooting pool and meeting new people. Typical normal stuff, I imagine. I enjoy working out and I do at least ***days a week. I started training in MMA at the beginning of the year and have become a little addicted to it. I like to do 5ks/8ks when my schedule allows. I don't like stress in my life and have worked very hard to get rid of it and keep it away. Life is to short to deal with stress/drama when you don't have to, so I don't. I love to laugh and have a good time but I can be serious when I need to. I am one of those people who are really happy with their life and it would be great to find someone who is also happy with their life. I would like to find someone who is comfortable in their own skin. Someone who is going to challenge me in a positive way. Someone who is funny, kind, honest, and enjoys life! At this point I am looking to start a relationship and see where it goes. Honesty and communication are two important factors that I look for in any relationship. I am looking to start a long term relationship but I move slow. I was married for 9 years, moving slow for me is a good thing in order to build a solid relationship. I will mention that I am way to busy to play games, chase someone, be crazy or easy. With that said, I have a life, it would be nice to find someone who can fit into my life and I can fit into theirs....hopefully that makes sense. I am into tattoos! I do get tattoo work done about 4-5hrs a month. I am over a year into a large piece that hopefully will be done in another year or so. Just throwing it out there because I know tattoos are not for everyone. And Cher, huge Cher fan!!
